"I will start over, and over, and over, somehow." she belted.
Her name was Alianna. Alianna Monroe. She was fairly successful only be 26. She's worked steadily on Broadway since she was 19, starting with her debut as Cosette in Les Mis. She's the fiancé to the CEO of Mayhem Interprises, New York's most successful guitar company. And she's the mother to the 3 year old twins who play 2/4 baby ogres in Shrek the Musical 2.
Now, she plays Liz in If/Then. Little did Alianna know that soon, her favorite song in If/Then, Always Starting Over, is soon going to become her reality.
She came out of the wings for bows at the end of their last show for that day with her co-star Kenny Roller. Another young Broadway hit. She playfully kissed him on the cheek and the crowd went crazy. They were possibly the most shipped couple in all of Broadway. They bowed and exited stage left, as they do every night and Kenny walked Alianna back to her dressing room. His was right next to hers and he felt that it would be a nice gesture to walk with her.
Alianna heard some strange noises while she was standing outside her dressing room. She thought she heard Eric, which was very well possible, but to whom did this womanly voice she was hearing belong to?
She opened the door and saw her sister Isabelle, or Izzy as she liked to call her, and her dear fiancé Eric on her couch....kissing.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING ERIC?!" Alianna screamed furiously.
Eric paled. He wasn't supposed to get caught. "A-Alianna." he stuttered.
"Don't you Alianna me you jerk! You're kissing my sister!!" She yelled.
"Al. Alianna. I'm sorry." he whispered.
"Well sorry doesn't cut it this time Eric!"
Alianna stormed out of her dressing room and ran down the hall to her understudy Idina's. She knocked on the door and waited, tearyeyed for her to answer.
"Hey Alianna!" Idina said in her usual happy voice before noticing the blonde's expression. "Whats wrong sweetheart?"
Idina and Alianna had kind of a mother daughter relationship. With Alianna only being 26 and Idina being 43, Alianna looked up to Idina in a lot of ways.
"I-I have to quit the show." She sobbed.
"What?? Why??" Idina exclaimed.
"I-I have to leave New York. Eric cheated on me. "
Idina's expression turned from concern to anger. "you're kidding!" She yelled. "where is he!? I'm gonna kill him."
Now, in any other circumstance Alianna would've tried to calm Idina down. But Alianna knew that she was like a daughter to Idina and that if someone pulled something like this with one of her little girls , there would be no calming her down.
"My dressing room." she said bluntly. She was so numb at this point she didn't even care.
Idina walked out of the dressing room and down the hall. What happened was all a blur to Alianna. She remembers seeing Eric come through the door and she remembers a lamp being hurled at her head. Then it all went dark.
