DELUSION

He ran and ran till he reached a large resort. He just wished that he wasn't late. Since morning he rounded the whole city to find the venue. He doubted the whole process from the start only. Despite being rich, they chose to make the event a simple and silent affair. He cursed himself for not acting fast even after smelling something fishy.

Finally, he reached the venue. Looking at his state the guards refused him entry. Digging deep in his pocket he pulled out his identity card. Gaining access he ran inside like a mad man. His race came to an end or to be precise his life came to an end witnessing the marriage.

The groom looked up and smiled, he called him closer towards them but he didn't move an inch. A lone tear escaped his eyes reminding him of the start of his destruction. The immense pain in his heart was proof that he was still living. He was in the same shoes as she was years ago. He broke her heart then and it came back to him now. He was just as heartbroken as she was years back. 

He looked at the couple on the stage. Surprisingly she didn't look at him, which did nothing but increased his pain. He chuckled sarcastically and said

"Karma always hits you back when it does it gives you the pain of lifetime"

On the other side, she discovered a fact that almost took her breath away. She would always be connected to him and she hated that. She vanished from the face of the earth after this incident. It was like she erased her existence!

Years later he finally met her in Los Angeles. She was heavily injured and barely breathing. After he successfully rescued her she forgot everything. It was as if the past years were nothing but a blank paper. As the past slowly unfolds they feel like their existence to date was nothing but a

  "DELUSION"
