Elle was more confused than she had ever been, Ian had made it clear how much he disliked Elle, so what was anna going on about, maybe she was lying to get sympathy, Elle wouldn't put it past her, but the emotions... it was all just so confusing, she didn't know anything anymore, milo was sleeping In her room, her older brother wasn't feeling well, I mean, it was better than being dead, but he just didn't feel right, Blythe was skeptic, she didn't know what her father did to him, he could've quite literally done anything, and they were scared, milo just slept, all day he slept, they were worried, so they did the only thing they could think of... Called ian.

"Do you call me every time you need something?" The man complains, "Oh shut up..." Lexxi leans up, hugging her old friend, "It's good to see you ian.", The man smiles, nodding, the two of them sit on the couch...

Elle got up, grabbed her gun, walked into the living room, pointing her gun at the concrete wall, "Bang!", she shouts, pressing the trigger, her aim was off, it hit a metal beam, bouncing off the metal straight into the- "Ouch-", couch, the girl turns her head quickly as if her day couldn't get any worse? The bullet was in Ian's chest, she opens her mouth, "I-i am so sorry-" She panics, "It's alright baby." Ian chuckles, allowing the 'Baby' to slip, Elle's heart skipped a beat, "Don't mess with her ian." Blythe shakes her head, sitting next to Lexxi, Elle remembers what he said the night before, "Why the fuck are you here?", "I'm asking him to interrogate The Riddler.", Elle scoffs, "You got a problem with that?" Ian asks, a smirk playing on his lips, "No." She lies, it's what he's been doing all along, it's not wrong for her to do the same, right?

After hours of waiting Ian called and asked Elle and Lexxi to meet him at Edwards apartment, the girls were iffy about it, but it was Ian, and as much as he'd done... Both girls trusted him more than they trusted themselves, "Are you sure this is okay with you Elle?" Lexxi asks as they enter the elevator, "I'll be fine.", Elle gives her a thankful smile, soon they arrive at the penthouse, Elle sighs before walking in, "Why'd you want to meet us here?"- Elle is hit over the head with a bat, everything going black as Ian catches her body, "Blythe agreed to this?" Ian asks, his heart was beating fast, "Yeah, she wants her to be better.", Lexxi put's the bat down, "You have the cover story straight?", "Yeah...", Lexxi looks down at Elle, with sorrow, "I just feel so bad-", "Well don't now leave, out of my house." The Riddler smiles, Ian rolls his eyes as he pulls Lexxi along, Edward leans down, stroking his daughter's cheek, chuckling, "They're never getting you back"...

"Where's Elle?" Hazel looks over from the couch as Lexxi enters the home, Lexxi looks like she was crying, she looked at her lover blankly, "She wanted to stay with her dad.", Hazel frowns their eyebrows, "What- what- what do you mean?" They get up quickly, "She's not coming back." Lexxi falls to her knees crying...

Blythe knew the real plan, and no she didn't feel bad, Elle was spiraling, she could see it, and soon she would start killing again, Blythe couldn't have that, Max knew some too, and he was okay with it, he would miss his best friend, but he knew too that Elle couldn't be killing again, though he didn't trust who was going to be re-wiring Elle's brain, He knew Edward was the only person in Gotham who could do it, and that was a fact, he still felt worried, His best friend with the man who abused her for most of her life? it made him feel disgusted, but what could go wrong?

Liam entered his room, "Hey-", He pulls out a gun, "The one who does not trust must die.", The trigger is pulled, Fear in max's eyes, his hands trail down his body, bringing his hands back up, they were covered in blood, Blythe was first in the room, just as max was falling to the floor, Blythe grabbed the gun from Liam, shooting him in the leg, the man falls to the ground, It was like slow motion as blythe got to Max, the boy was struggling to breathe, Blythe could see the panic in his eyes, "I-", "Shh don't talk...", "Tell Elle I love her...", Blythe nods as tears roll out of her eyes, max looked forward, "I'm going to hell.", a tear fell down his cheek, "I  wonder if I'll see my mom.".

Max died that day, he was laid to rest in the Luther family private graveyard, no one could contact Edward, so Elle wasn't there, everyone knew she would be heartbroken if she knew, she'd probably kill herself if were being honest, but no one wanted to admit it, Liam was put in the basement with anna, Max didn't have a will, so they left his room exactly how he left it, blythe was even washing his clothes, almost pretending it didn't happen, while Elle was in Gotham Max and Blythe had become good friends, they worked for the same man, Max's father, speaking of Max's dad, he had even come out of hiding to attend his son's funeral, even though Blythe knew what he did to the both of them, it made her emotional seeing her old boss crying, even having a breakdown, Max was his only son, his only family after his wife died, and now the man was alone.

"Max Machin, Son of the hero Anarky, is dead, Long live the Prince of Gotham."

Screams filled Edward's ears, "Probably should've turned that off...", tears ran down Elle's face as she cried, "No! not max! no! No!", she struggled in her chair, "Buzz Buzz Ellie.", he shocked Elle's scalp again, and it all faded...
