[ CHAPTER 003 ]

NO ONE P.O.V

"What kind of person am I before?"

Lisa lift her head up and look at Jungkook. The male is still back facing her and he is no longer cutting the vegetables. Lisa forms a small smile. "What's with the sudden question?"

Jungkook put away the knife and turn around. He brings up his palm and places it on Lisa's cheek, caressing her face softly and adoringly "Just asking." He answers shortly. "Well..." Lisa trailed off as she hold Jungkook's palm on her cheek

"You're a nice person."

Not really

"A humble and kind person"

The cruelest and the coldest

"You're what everyone would wish for."

You're everyone's worse nightmare.

Lisa smiles sweetly at him making Jungkook smile at her too. "Really?" He says as connect their forehead together. "Of course, why would I lie to you?" Jungkook chuckled at her statement.

"Right, my wife won't lie to me." He said as he pull away and mess with Lisa's hair as he chuckle and walk away to continue cooking their dinner. Lisa forms a thin smile as she takes a deep breath "Of course, I won't."

Her voice sounded soft that Jungkook don't hear her. He turns to her "Did you say something?" He asks but Lisa shakes her head "Nope." She approaches him to continue cooking with him. She silently thought to herself while standing beside him.

"Did he get the letter?" A male asked as he glance at his men who nod his head "He did but he throw it away." His men inform making him huff "He really doesn't remember huh?" He mutters to himself.

There is silence before his men decide to speak up "Sir, the rumor about the Wang's consigliere being alive had been quite famous in the mafia world. Some even said that they saw him but somehow, no one got the chance to get his picture to prove it."

"That's good. The more people believe it the more will try to kill him. It'll be easier for me." The male says as he smirked in amusement, his men nod "what should we do now?"

"What else? Keep sending pictures of his past." The male says as he glances at his man. "I can't get near him because of his wife but I can ruin everything."

"I can ruin their marriage life."

Lisa's eyes flutter open as she glances at Jungkook that is sleeping soundly beside her. His arm is hugging her waist. Lisa glanced at the clock and saw that it was 1 in the morning.

Lisa slowly remove his arm and make sure that he didn't wake up. Lisa slowly gets up from the bed and walk towards the balcony. She pulls out her phone and dials a number.

After a few beeps, someone answers the call. "Hello?" The voice from the other side answer "Taehyung." Lisa call out as she sighed "We got a situation right here." Lisa speaks up.

"What's up?"

"Yeah, Jungkook start asking about how he is before he lost his memory."

"He did? Did you tell him the truth?"

"Of course not, I told him that he is a nice person."

"Did he tell you if he remembers anything?"

"No, he didn't tell me if he remember anything."

"Then, there's nothing to worry about."

"I know, but he never bothered to ask about his past. Why do I feel like something is making him feel curious?"

"I don't know. What do you want me to do?"

"Can you help me on checking the CCTV maybe?"

"Aish... I'm not paid enough for this. Fine, I'll check it later."

"Thanks, Taehyung."

"Hey, Lisa. Have you heard about those rumors?"

"Huh? Rumor? What rumor?"

"About people seeing Jungkook around the place and stuff?"

"I've handled that part. I don't know why but someone is leaking out about Jungkook these days."

"I really hope that you handled this. Have you talked to Jackson?"

"Not yet but he ask me to meet him tomorrow though."

"Well then, I will talk to you tomorrow too. Now stop calling me, I need to complete this report."

With that, Taehyung ends the call making Lisa shake her head. She sigh as she just stood on the balcony. A soft breeze hit her face as she just breathe in the air. Her hair swayed around a little when someone suddenly hugged her from behind.

Lisa widen her eyes at the sudden action as Jungkook suddenly bury his nose on her neck from behind. His hot breath slapped her skin as he kiss it once "What are you doing out here? It's cold." He mumbles in her ears.

Lisa smiled "Just want some fresh air. Since when did you wake up?" She asked lowkey worried if Jungkook heard her conversation. Jungkook shrugged "just woke up." He mumbles, still back hugging her.

Lisa sighed in relief as she turns around towards Jungkook. "Is there a problem dear? Is there a reason why you can't sleep?" Jungkook asks with concern in his voice as he caresses her hair softly.

"Just work," Lisa answered shortly as she smiled soon after. Jungkook sighed and kissed her forehead "Don't overwork yourself, dear." He says as Lisa smiles apologetically. "Sorry." She mumbles.

Jungkook smiled softly "When you're at work, you can be that cold boss that everyone fears to look dear but when you're at home and when you're with me. You can share all the burdens with me. I'm your husband. I'll listen to your problem even if I can't help you."

He says as he cups her cheek "understood?" He asked as Lisa smiled at him happily. He is such a caring husband, Lisa has to admit it. After they got married, Jungkook never hurt her, not physically or mentally.

He was always there. He cooked with her. He helps her with the chores. He work hard just like her and he never missed a moment when they are with their daughter. They're so happy.

Lisa nodded her head "Yes." She says. "Now, what can I do to make you feel better?" He asked making Lisa place her finger on her chin "I want cuddles!" She says soon after.

Jungkook chuckles at her cute behavior as he nods "I'll cuddle you till tomorrow." He says as he picks her up bridal style causing Lisa to yelp and instantly wraps her arm around his neck.

Jungkook chuckled as he brings both of them back to their room. Oblivious that from afar someone is holding a binocular while watching everything from afar. He huffs upon seeing them disappearing from the balcony.

"You look so happy, Jeon."

"But It won't last long though."
