"Zabuza is still alive", Kakashi announced.

"HAH" Yelled Kakashi's genin, their jaws practically touching the ground and their eyes popping out of their sockets.

Kakashi was an elite ninja with the Sharingan, having copied and executed over a thousand Jutsus, but there was one thing that Kakashi had admittedly copied best, that being several of Obito's Ice breakers.

He looked around for a second and saw a hint of a smile on Naruto's face.

Kakashi then casually proceeded to recite a quick yet effective icebreaker.

"Well, at least SOMEBODY is happy bout this news," Kakashi said with an eye smile.

Everybody turned to the embarrassed Naruto, giving Kakashi the space he needed to think about the issue at hand.

"Well," began Tsunami, "You need rest, yes, but sunlight will do you good. Your team is currently finishing their morning chores, so I suggest that you go take a walk around the harbor. I'll send your students down in a while."

And that's how Kakashi found himself waiting for his students by the harbor. It had already been a half hour and Kakashi had begun to feel a slight nagging feeling that he had last felt when Obito was late. Kakashi shook his head to clear those thoughts away. He couldn't afford to be distracted right now.

Kakashi sighed in relief as he spotted his students coming into view. 

Naruto appeared to have dropped something. He bent down, allowing his teammates a head start. Sasuke and Sakura reached him first. Sasuke opened his mouth to speak but before he could get a word out, an orange blob jumped in between Kakashi and Sasuke. 

"Kakashi Sensei! I was reading this book, ya know, and like it was like about how to see someone's future through their hand ya know. It's so cool, Dattebayo! I wanted to see Sakura and Sasuke's futures but they said yours was more interesting so I wanted to prove them wrong and so I came here. Basically, Kakashi Sensei, can I see your future, please please please please!"

Kakashi sighed. Naruto liked thinking that he was giving Kakashi a choice but really he wasn't. It was either this or being nagged for the rest of his life. Kakashi shot a quick glare at the Pinkette and the Uchiha for giving Naruto this idea and then replied to Naruto with a weary "Sure..."

The blonde grabbed Kakashi's right hand in his left. He flexed the fingers of his right hand and prepared the feel the lines on Kakashi's plam.

Naruto placed his right hand on Kakashi's left, but the second the hands touched, Naruto jerked back, his eyes glazing over. Kakashi grabbed the boy's hands in the hope that he might shake Naruto out of his daze, but the seconds their hands touched the blonde promptly collapsed.
