Tears stain his face, his eyes sting with pain. Calling out for her, the one he needs, the one that can save him. Who is she?
Who really is the one he needs?
She lies back, memories flashing through her mind, her heart beating in sync with the rain, shortened breath, fingers pulling at her hair.
She thought he was gone, lost in a place where people wander to hopeless places trying to find who they're looking for.
They call out for each other, thousands of miles away. The pain is plastered on their faces. A message, a hope rising message, scaring her away-Baby, I love you. I'm here, I've always been here. Please- the tears flood down her face, the whole world falls in on her. Fear, anger, excitement, and sadness all hidden inside. The walls are caving in, she can't see, she can't breath, she feels as if someone was choking her, suffocating her, making sure to never speak his name again. The fear rises high above her, consuming her. She can't control it, everything fades out, and all she hears is the ticking of the clock, and the spinning of a fan.
Her mind still wanders to those days he would hold her and tell her everything was alright.
Now, she wants to scream at him-I hate you, I hate you so much and I will never forgive you for ruining my life, your mothers, and Sam's life. I miss you so much that it's killing me, I love you, but now I hate you. You had a future and now it's gone. I will never forgive you- she wanted to throw the words in his face, maybe they would have stopped him, maybe if she told him he would still be here telling her everything's alright, just maybe.
But now he was gone and those words, saying everything was alright, were lies. Lies from the dead.
