He asked the white haired girl in front of him but only received silence in response. Seeing that the girl wouldn't talk he decided to not push further and once he received his order he ate in silence
Timeskip
The girl had already left and it was currently 5:30 PM. Before leaving the café he decided to take out food for his dinner that sounded delicious to him.
As he was walking his way, he was sucking on a lollipop that he bought from a near sari-sari store. He started to think about the things that throughout his life. He really can't decide if either he's blessed or cursed.
walking besides an alleyway he heard a bunch of dudes talking to each other and snickering. Out of curiosity, he decided to check it out. He then finds himself looking at three dudes pinning the same white haired girl he met in the café earlier.
Dude1: "Sa tingin niyo marami ba tayong makukuha na pera kung binigay natin itong binibini na ito kay Jojo?" (Do you guys think we'll receive a lot of money if we give this beautiful lady to Jojo?)
Dude2: "Wag muna pre. Let's enjoy this girl's body first then we decide if we want to or not~"
The guy said in a tone that'll make any girl scared though the white haired girl didn't seem faze by this though despite the lack of reactions Shi immediately went in and "saved" her. After a few seconds of fighting, he knocked out the final guy.
???: "I could've taken care of the situation but I could really careless."
She said before swinging her body around walking away from the scene.
Shi: "And here I thought zhis cliché was real."
He said before shrugging his shoulder before leaving the three knocked out dudes.
Timeskip
Two weeks of peacefully leaving here in the Philippines, change Shi's perspective about the people around him a bit. They were all friendly and even willing to teach him a few basic tagalog words.
Right now Shi is at Pan's Cafe, after a few days visiting the café he quickly befriended the owner's husband. According to some of his stories he used to be a engineer in helping to further improve Philippines technology used in agriculture but quickly shifted to IS due to the demand.
Zumo: "Still can't believe you're gonna work for my former workplace."
He said taking a sip from his cup of water.
Shi: "Yeah. By the way, how come I never see you drink coffee like ever since I actually started coming here zhis early?"
Zumo: "Yeah gonna blame the younger me for that one."
He said chuckling to himself before enjoying the dark street view through his window.

Zumo: "Well you should be going later cuz around 5:30 to 7:30 is rush hour and if ya don't hurry up now you might stuck in traffic."
Shi: "Ok."
Shi takes the last bite of the sandwich Zumo prepared for him and went on his way to the HQ of the Hemsworth Company.
A month Shi is currently working for the Hemsworth Company for the rest of his little vacation here in the Philippines. The CEO was also a good friend of Tabane so that's why he knew of Shi's existence though they both relatively talk less to each other now due to his heavy schedule.
The most interesting surprise was that the same girl he "saved" a few weeks ago was actually the heiress of the company and the CEO was her mother.
Shi tried to talk to her multiple times regarding the "Glacial Gleam" Project for her but she immediately always shot down the conversation quickly showing her utter hatred for it.
And finally his last week before he finally heads back on his travels, he finally got Jasmin to open up and admit to why she hated the IS so much though that info would of course be kept secret.
Jasmin: "Glacial Gleam! Incandescence!"
She shouted summoning her IS and suddenly was on the other side of the field they were testing the IS on.
Final day
It was finally time for him to travel somewhere new and before Jasmin thank him for being her first friend but still in a uncaring tone which caused him to sweat dropped. She also promised to keep it that way and with that Shi goes on his next adventure.
