Y/n's POV I was watching tv until I heard something fell on the bathroom, then I heard my cousin yell my name. I quickly ran in the bathroom and she was breathing hard and she was sweating
Y/c/n: Y/n, I think my water broke. Me: Oh my god! Okay, let's go. We have to go to hospital! Just breathe.
Y/c/n start screaming and crying, I grabbed my keys and took her to the car and I quickly drove off, then the cops were behind me. Fuck! I quickly pulled over
Y/c/n: Y/n, what the hell are you doing?! I'm having a baby! Me: I know. I know.
Then the cops got out of the car, one cop was in my side and the other is in Y/c/n side
Me: Sir, what seems to be the problem? ??: You were speeding. Wanna explain why? Me: My cousin's having a baby. You see her in the backseat. ??: That's not a good reason unless someone died. Me: You're a man so you won't get it! She's having a baby right now. Can I just go and you can give me a ticket later? ??: Cooper, let her go.
I looked at Y/c/n's side and it was a beautiful woman
??: What?! She was speeding! ??: Her cousin's having a baby! Ma'am, please follow us. We'll take you to the hospital. Me: Thank you, Officer Haughton.
She winked at me and they got in the car, I quickly drove to the hospital, Y/c/n kept screaming
Me: We're almost there. Keep breathing. Y/c/n: Y/n, it hurts! Me: I know. We're almost there.
We followed the police car and we arrived to the hospital and the nurse gave her a room, I followed her and held her hand. She kept pushing
Nurse Connie: Okay, Y/c/n, this is the last one. Give me a good push. You ready? Me: You got this, Y/c/n. Nurse Connie: Three, two, one. Push!
Y/c/n pushed harder while gripping on my hand, then her baby start crying, Y/c/n was breathin' heavily. I smiled at her
Me: You did a good job, Y/c/n. Y/c/n: Thank you for being here for me, Y/n/n. Jay was supposed to be-
I heard the door open and it was Jay, her boyfriend
Jay: Baby, I'm sorry I was late. Traffic was crazy. Y/c/n: It's okay, baby. Just please don't do that again. Jay: I won't, baby. Thank you for being here for her, Y/n. Me: No problem. I'll leave you two alone.
Jay and Y/c/n nodded, I walked out of the room and sat at the waiting room. Then Officer Haughton sat next to me
Officer Haughton: Hi. Me: Hey Officer Haughton. Officer Haughton: Please call me Aaliyah. Me: That's a beautiful name. I'm Y/n. Officer Haughton: That's a beautiful name. How's your cousin, did she have her baby? Me: Yeah. She had a baby boy. Her boyfriend's there with her. Aaliyah: Nice. Me: Aaliyah, I wanna thank you for letting me go when my cousin is going through labor. Aaliyah: No problem. Officer Cooper is a jerk. He don't know shit. You okay tho? Me: I'm okay. How can I repay you? Aaliyah: For what? Me: For letting me go. Aaliyah: You don't have to. Me: But I want to. Aaliyah: How about... you take me out on a date this weekend? I'm off. Me: I love to. Aaliyah grabbed my hand and write her number on my hand, she smiled at me and kissed my hand
