Is it your heart
Oh, that's breakin' all in pieces
Makin' you cry
Makin' you feel blue
Is there anything that I can do

He was supposed to feel happy. He finally married his best friend, the one who stayed with him from the beginning, the love of his life. The time on his phone showed eleven thirty PM, still the wedding day. He is no longer a bachelor. Joo Dantae is the husband of Na Ae Gyo.

Sitting on his side of bed, just wearing a white tee and a boxer. Behind him is his wife, clothless covered with a blanket and sleeps peacefully, tired of their first time, then rounds of making-love sessions. He was supposed to sleep in pleasure. What's this feeling inside his heart? A longing for someone...

When he is lost in his thoughts, suddenly a warm embrace comes from behind. "Hey hubby… Can't sleep?" Her sweet, sleepy voice in his ears, her head on his shoulder.

"Hello wifey! Still weird, we call each other with that title." His hands cover her small ones.

"Try to get used to it, handsome. Or Yeobo sounds better?"

"Whatever the name is fine by me. Hmm but Yeobo sounds…better. It's cold, you'd better wear the robe or I will…"

"Get your mind out of the gutter, will you? Only the first night and you had already worn me out."

"Can't help it though. I heard no complaints earlier, just you calling my name many times…"

"Shut up! Okay, wait I'll wear the robe first. You are the one who threw it, and I'm the one who is looking for it."

Dantae laughs at his wife. "Okay, Madam. Wait… and here is your sleep robe."

Ae Gyo covers herself, even knowing what her husband will do later. "Done."

"Beautiful," he softly touched her cheek. "Still hurt? Do you need another warm cloth?"

"Still a little bit sore, hmm...maybe later". She is grateful for him. A caring and loving husband, just like she dreams of. "What happened? You want to share with me what's inside your head?" She loves to hug him from behind. His broad shoulder, her comfort place to lean on.

He holds her hand, finding solace. "I miss my mom. I wonder if she is still alive, how happy she will be today…"

She stays silent, using her vacant hand to rub his back. The sound of the waves meeting the shore keeps them company.

"She is. I have never met her, but I believe she will be more excited than you. How proud she is of her hard-working son. Oh, she must be thankful also because her son grew up to be a handsome guy." Her laugh never fails to make butterflies in his stomach.

"I wish she met you for real. She will love you."

"I'm confident I will love her too. She must be on my team when you and I have arguments though. Rule number one, women are always right."

"Touché. I can imagine the situation will be. Need more man on my side. Get ready to have a lot of babies, Yeobo."

"We are still talking about your mother. How dare you bring that topic up now?"

"Peace out, sweetheart". He moves her to his side, hand on her hips, bringing her body close to him. "I still remember how she died in front of me. Her bloody hand was holding my face. If I tried harder that day searching for help, she might be alive now."

"Hey…you are still a small boy at the time, and talking about what-ifs like this couldn't bring her back. You kept your promise to her, Yeobo. Look at you, a successful businessman, you have money and power. Just remember how you can get all of this, it's because of your mother's prayer."
