"Alicia?"
"Yes sir?"
"The class ended 5 minutes ago."
"Oh! I'm sorry for wasting your time sir. I'll go now."
I started putting my school supplies into my bag.
"Alicia, are you alright? Your acting very...unusual today."
"Oh, of course I'm alright sir! I've just got a bit of a headache, that's all."
"Okay then, take care! I'll see you next week!"
I waved to the teacher as I exited the classroom.
Buzz buzz
I checked my phone to see a message from Ashley.
"Where are you? I've been waiting for around 7 minutes."
"I zoned out in class, sorry to keep you waiting! I'll meet you near the exit to school. Hailey's dad takes me home, so I'll ask him if you can come with us."
I put my phone away and walked out of school. I saw Ashley waiting near Hailey's car.
"There you are! Come on let's go! I can't wait to talk to you about everything!"
Ashley dragged me over to the car and we sat down.
