*Mary's P.O.V*

I set my stuff down on the couch as I walked in the door of my house. Walking in my kitchen I felt a hand press down on one of my bruises.

"Ow!" I yelped as I spun around to see Sam, my older sister.

"Man he got you good." she said studying my face.

"Ya well you didn't have to do that!" I got a little mad at her.

"Awww, are you getting mad?" She said in a sassy tone. I stuck up my middle finger at her and got a glass of water.

I picked up my bag on the couch and went down to my room. I started to slave away on my homework, then I got a text from Aiden. My stomach jumped for joy. I quickly unlocked my phone and read it.

'Hey sorry about earlier, wut did I say?'

'Nothin 2 bad' I said in response.

'then wut did I do?' He said.

'Its not wut u did it's wut u almost did'

'Great, wut did I almost do then?' He asked and I giggled.

'Oh ya know, just almost streaked in front of the gym class'

'WHAT?!?! I gtg, about 2 kill some fools'

'Ok, don't get any blood on your clothes' I giggled some more and slid my phone into my pocket.

After all my homework was done I got another text from Janie saying 'go outside'. I slid my window open and climbed out.

I saw Janie when I closed the gate to my front yard.

"Hey what's wrong?" I could tell there was something bothering her.

"It's all my fault." she said and I could tell she was holding in tears.

"What is?"

"My parents are having money issues, and it's all my fault." a tear made it's way out and down her cheek. "If I wasn't born, or if I didn't need so much stuff they would be fine."

"No, a lot of people go through this." I tried to comfort her

"Not this time, I know how to get money."

"How?" I sounded a little surprised.

"I know where The Void keeps their illegal money press. We can rob that."

"We?!? Oh no no no no. You are not dragging me into this. Actually your not doing this!"

"You can't stop me, your either with or against me. Either way, I'm going." she said and when she says that, she means it.

"But...you can't....it would...." I sighed in defeat. "Well I can't let you do this alone, now can I?" I said and a big grin spread across her face as she hugged me.

"Ok meet me here at 12 and we'll go." She said and I nodded. We said our goodbyes and left.

I went through my window again and closed it. I slipped my feet into my covers and snuggled up all warm.

It was official then, I was going to steal money. Never thought this day would come.

My mom knocked on my door and opened it. "Want dinner?" She asked and I nodded.

When the delicious smell of steak, and mashed potatoes filled my nose I realized how hungry I was. I pulled up a chair and sat down.

Once everyone was seated we all devoured our food. I cleared the table and wiped down the counters.

I went down to my room and got undressed. I put a robe around me and walked to the shower.

When it was on I stepped into the stream and cringed for a moment as the steamy water hit my cuts and bruises. After a second it felt good and I washed myself off.

I walked to my room and got ready for bed. Just as I got into my bed I set an alarm for 11:55 am.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BE *smack* I hurried and got dressed. I put on black leggings, a black hoodie, and black combat boots. Just as I turned for the window I grabbed the biggest duffle bag I could find.

I slipped through the window and to the front yard. Sure enough Janie was standing right there in all black as well.

"You ready?" She asked

"I guess."

"That's not the spirit."

"Get in the damn car." I said and she rolled her eyes and got in the car.

Here we go, off to steal money, and maybe die. We pulled up in a parking lot of a church.

"Oh I get it." I said like there was a big thing I was missing before.

"What?" She said confused at my sudden outburst.

"After we're done stealing money we can repent at the church, so we don't go to hell." I said and she rolled her eyes.

"You're such a dork." she grinned at me, and I returned the gesture.

"Ok, so what's the plan?" I asked, shifting my body towards her.

"Ok, so the money press is in a barn. It should be guarded by three men. I will throw a rock where some trees are, my best guess is that they'll send two men out looking. When they have been gone for 30 seconds you throw another rock in another direction, sending the other man after it. Then I will fill our bags up with money as you continue to send them on their wild goose chase." she said satisfied with her answer.

I nodded, happy with the plan. "Ok, lead the way." We hopped out of the car and grabbed the duffle bags.

She walked down the block till there was nothing but trees. She walked through very stealthily, me not far behind. We found a small clearing with a barn filling it up. We both picked up some rocks and I threw mine and she threw hers. Sure enough her plan worked and she ran inside. I threw my rocks one after another, chuckling to myself as they ran around. About two minutes later she came out, duffle bags stuffed full. "Wow, you could buy a house with this money." I looked in astonishment.

"I know, they had way more in there." she said, exaggerating the a.

We heard some rustling and heard a female voice. "Hey!" She yelled in a hostile tone. My heart sank, we had been caught.
