Work, Eat, Laugh and Play

The usual, Penelope went to one of the Bridgerton hotels she handles. Since Eloise is on leave due to her pregnancy, she temporarily handles all 3 hotels own by the Bridgertons. Now her first stop is the hotel which Colin's penthouse situated, the main office as they usually call it.

Her office is on the first floor of the building, beside the reception area.

Once park at the basement of the hotel allotted to her, she was greeted by the security guard on post for that morning.

"Ms. Featherington, good morning." Guard greeted her.

"Good morning, Andrew." She sees to it that she knows every employee she handles.

"How's your new baby?" she asked.

"She is doing great, ma'am." Exclaimed by Andrew, you can see on his face that how happy he is.

"That's nice, see you around Andrew." She then went to the elevator for owner of the hotel, president, CEO and GM.

Once it opens, Colin Bridgerton gets off the elevator with his driver Robert carrying Colin's things.

"Oh, hello there, good morning." He greeted her. He then bends down to kiss her cheek.

"Oh. Amm, good morning. Hi Robert." She also greeted Colin's driver. She was caught off guard by Colin's gesture.

"What time are you off later?" he asked her.

"Not sure, usually 5pm." She responded with confusing look.

"Can you wait for me?" he asks her.

"Why?" she looks at him with a frown forehead.

"Just see you later. Bye, you take care." He speaks.

"Bye, take care also." She went inside the elevator and press the first floor.

See you later means inviting her for dinner, which she enjoyed it. His company was not so awful at all, he nice, total gentleman and a good listener. She knows coz she's the one who always do the talking and all he does were nods, am, ok, yes, that's great and so on. As far as she knows, Mr. Seriousness the employees call him even her secretary accidently mentioned it to her when she informed her that Colin's on the phone.

"Ms. Featherington, Mr. Seriousness on, I mean Sir Bridgerton on the phone, Ma'am." Karen her secretary.

But he's not, he smiles most of the time. And most of the time he listens to or that's what she thought.

What irritates or annoyed her is he normally teases her, and he would laugh that annoying laugh at her. Well, he'll stop if he noticed she's being serious stop talking. Besides that, they are okay. They enjoy each other's company, and they love food that is for sure.

Everything went smooth for the two of them. Colin would pick her up for lunch or dinner if he and she are available. They would eat together in a restaurant discussing anything that interest them both. They acted as loving couple with flaying colors as you can see, no effort is needed for both of them it just come on naturally.

And eventually they will be part of the news and Colin's family will inform him well mostly her mom about he and Penelope was on the news and they are getting used to it. This becomes more and more frequent.

What Colin notice about Penelope, she ate anything palatable not a choosy one. She reminded her of his sister Eloise but not as loud as her sister.

Most of his previous girlfriends always pay attention to what they ate for they are on a 'diet'. Diet he hated that word. He can take her anywhere without complains, for places they would eat. And they complement each other, they both love to eat. Maybe their love for food is what make them get along.
