Chapter 5

I woke up at the sound of my alarm buzzing, I looked next to me and saw Cassidy asleep on the sofa.
I got up and quickly freshened myself up, and got dressed.

"Cassidy, I'm going to work! " I shout through the hall.
I hear groans and hear a slight mumbled okay.

I left my apartment and quickly made my way to Rossi and co.
"Hey katherine, I'm here 😌"

"Hey lilah, I'm glad you're here on time, Josephine won't be in till a bit later so she asked me to inform you what to do, and also give you mr Rossi's schedule for you to tell him once he arrives. You'll tell it to him once he reaches his office floor. Your office is on his floor. Mr Rossi should tell you where your office. Anyways Mr Rossi likes a black coffee, a a tiny bit of milk and like literally a pinch of sugar. "

My god, this man. "Thank you katherine, I appreciate it. How long roughly is it before mr Rossi gets here? "

"Mr Rossi will be roughly half an hour. Oh and btw there's a mini kitchen on his floor, that's where you will make his coffee"

"Thank you katherine, I'll leave you be now. Oh and btw if you want to maybe we could get lunch together or something"

"Sure, I'd love to Delilah" she smiles, and I walk away.

20 minutes later I go and start making a coffee for Mr Rossi
"Delilah, mr Rossi is outside, I hope everything is ready!" Katherine calls out
Shit. "Uhh I'll be there soon!"
I quickly make his coffee, and put a lid on it cause I may have to run, i quickly start walking out the kitchen, and over to the lift where he steps out, and he walks over to me.
"Delilah. You're late"
"I'm not late sir, you just came quicker than I had expected. Here's your coffee" you give him his coffee.
He takes the lid off and lets it cool a little

Today you have 2 meetings, 1 with Mr black, and another with Mr Hernandez. Your meeting with mr black is at 3:30 and with mr Hernandez it says it's a lunch meeting. There will be important emails for you to get back to Tod-

"Delilah. Is there any milk in this?"
You take the cup from his hands and sip it
"Yes there is milk in it sir" you smile and give it back to him.

He looks at me like I grew 4 heads and like a million eyes.
"Something wrong sir? " I ask

" Don't drink from my coffee again, also you left a faint lipstick stain. Change my cup"

"You can literally drink from the opposite side mr Rossi"

"I didn't recall hiring someone to boss me around. Go make me a new one whilst you're at it. A splash of milk and a pinch of sugar" He spoke

"Fine. Don't call me to do any work then. Cause I'll be making you a coffee" I walk over to the kitchen, and start making him a coffee

Once I finally finished making his coffee, I walk over to his office. I walk open the door and walk in

"Delilah, I expect you to knock before you enter my office. Anyways I don't fancy coffee anymore so just put it somewhere else"

Least I didn't have to do much. I throw it in the bin "actually I want it" he spoke slightly amused

"Are you messing with me? Sorry but I've made you a coffee twice now. If you want one then go make one yourself"

"I'm just messing Delilah. No need to get all angry now. Anyways sit, I need to discuss what you said about me on your phone to your friend. Don't think you're off the hook"

Shit. Hope he doesn't make me do anything in order to have his forgiveness 🙄

I sit down opposite him.

"Quite disrespectful to call me those things. Don't you think Delilah. Also I thought I told you not to get drunk, you're being very disrespectful"

" in all respect, my opinion is valid, it's what I think of you from the experience I had with you. Maybe my opinion of you could change if you were nicer to me. Also I did tell my friend that, but she told me a little wouldn't hurt. And besides I didn't come here with a hang over so it's not bad"

"It's probably because i told you to sober up. You shouldn't listen to your friend. I am your boss, not your friend. She could get you into trouble if you keep breaking my rules"

"Is that all?"

"Yes. Don't disrespect me again. Also organise these files in alphabetically order" he points towards a huge box of files
I walk over to them and pull out the huge stack of files from the box. My jaw drops, and I look at him
"Close your mouth before a fly, flies in there. Anyways I expect them to be done in an hour"

"An hour? How fast do you think I work?"
"I don't know how fast you work miss Evans, but I expect for you to have them done in an hour. If you can't keep up I suggest you look maybe at waitressing"

"No I can keep up just fine mr Evans. I pick up the files and walk to my office"
Fuck my life. This is going to be very boring, I put on some music and start organising them

Around half an hour later, I place the files in separate folders labelled with each letter of the alphabet, so once I'm in mr Rossi's office I can set them out how he wants.

I walk over to his office and knock. I hear him say something, so I walk in.

I drop the folders, and my jaw drops "what the fuck"
Mr Rossi smirks at me, as one of his little lady friends look up at me (🍆👅)

I quickly get out the room, close it and run to katherine. "Eww what a dirty little manwhore. Disgusting" I mutter to myself, I accidentally run in to someone "oh sorry, I didn't realise you were there. I'm so sorry"
I looked up at who I ran into. "Delilah. What a delightful surprise to see you"

"Oh,Hey Micheal. If you're here to see Lorenzo he's quite busy " as I say that the door opens and the girl that was in there runs out, her mascara smudged under her eyes, Lorenzo sees me, and then Micheal.

"Brother. What are you doing here? You never come and visit here twice in a week"
"I came to see Delilah and katherine ofc" he winked at me, and my cheeks heated up a bit.

"Delilah. Come to my office, I need to review your work. Brother I'll come find you in a bit" I follow Lorenzo

"You don't have to be so rude to your bother you know, I'm sure he's just messing. He came to see you"
"That's nice Delilah, but I don't care. Also I didn't tell you to come in when you interrupted what you saw"

" sorry to disturb your blow job. But I did knock and I thought i heard something, so I came in. You should buy a do not disturb sign. That way you can enjoy your alone time"

"Nah. I'm sure you'll enjoy the show anytime you accidentally come in" he smirked and then went inside his office "oh and pick up those files. I don't want a mess on my floor"
I bent down so my knees were almost touching the floor, as I was picking them up. Lorenzo pushed me and I fell onto my knees
"I didn't tell you to get on your knees Delilah. There's always another time for that though"

"Ewww you disgust me Lorenzo. Never would I do such thing" I get up and give him the files
"Here. Also your lunch meeting starts in 20 minutes. At that Italian restaurant down the road. I suggest you start making your way soon. Have a good meeting" as I'm about to walk out, he grabs my wrist and pulls me back

"Don't you know anything Delilah? Anytime I have a meeting, you attend. So my lunch meeting is also yours. If you had lunch plans with someone, Unlucky there's always another day"

"Ughh I just wanted to be away from you for an hour. I'll be back I just need to go talk to katherine

"Fine. I'll come get you once I'm ready to leave"
