Picture Mitsuko's hair like the media above! Just slightly less curly, then it's exactly how i imagined her!
Mitsuko's PoV
As he promised, Rihito really showed up the next morning. To his logic, he can walk us off since on his way to school he passes ours.
"You two look so kawaii, as always." He commented casually as he held the door open for us.
"Arigato, you look handsome in your uniform too." I say.
This is really the first time that I've talked to him. And my first impression? What a flirt. it just seems like he slips things out casually. I know how to deal with that.
"Where's your school?" I asked as the school gate of our school is already visible.
"Just a block ahead of yours." he nodded forward, "so I'll see you two after school at black ship!"
Then, I realize Miyuki gazing forward at Rihito's back.
"Ya thinking what I'm thinkin'?" I nudged her on the arm.
"Huh..? I was thinking I'd like to see where he studies...." she murmured.
"Exactly. then we're going there after school!" I announced with my arm reached up, then dropped it back down before walking into the school yard.
"Really? You'll come with me?" I hear her following close behind me.
"I'm not as evil as you may think." I say with a hint of laughter.
As we walked down the hall, I see a teacher walk down the hall. I bowed Japanese-style to her: "Ohiyo, sensei."
A surprised look crossed her features before she recomposed herself and nodded back at me.
"Told ya it'll go smooth." I say to a giggling Miyuki as soon as the teacher left.
"That was our art teacher, Ms. Takihara."
We have math first class, Shimada......... He was the very first teacher I've messed with here...now that he knows about our bet, I have a bad feeling about this....
"Miss Takahashi." He said my name right away. Grr...
"Hai." To school rules, I stood up, my slightly natural curls bounced in their neat ponytail as I did. I felt confused gazes on me. Normally I'd always be looking up from my lap, where I was doing homework.
"Please answer the first question for the class on the board." he held up a chalk to me. I walked up and took the chalk over. We're not supposed to learn this equation till next unit, but he's trying to make me look bad when he can.
I solved it. Beautifully. When I dropped the chalk back down, I purposely dusted my hands. As in 'this ain't nothin for meh'.
Anything else you'd like me to help you solve? I so wanna say that, but I can't. It was on the tip of my tongue but I swallowed it down. I bowed lightly before walking gracefully back to my seat. Hmm...why do I get a feeling of disappointment somewhere? Were the students disappointed that I didn't make a nasty comment this time?
It was like going through live hell. I had to sit up straight, arms crossed on the table, can't even lean onto the chair back, I needed to initially take notes AND I need to be modest! Even if I outranked the teacher on something I can't show anything at all >.< not even a smug smile.
I took some side glanced at Haruki at times, too. To see how he takes notes.
No idea how I survived the morning.
