Without letting Mitsuko notice, I sighed while trailing off behind her a little.

We're in Tokyo now, and our accidents are the cause of it. My split-personality condition has ruined my perfectly balanced life. I wasn't as well-known as Mitsuko, but as far as I've met people, I'm very well-liked. Mitsuko was too popular a lot of people hate her for her perfections; I, have only four friends that I hang with all the time, the five of us are always together. But it was like they all betrayed me and stayed away from me after the accidents.˃̣̣̥᷄⌓˂̣̣̥᷅
Also a top notch student, I am. I just don't socialize a lot so I'm flooded over by Mitsuko.

Speaking of my condition, it's different from the well-known kind, when I turn into someone else, I'll remember what happened after I'm back to normal, but I won't remember anything of my usual self when I'm someone else.
Certain things trigger me into switching personalities, certain languages or words spoken, or an insult or more likely my own emotions. Happening without any warning at all is also possible.(︶︿︶)

Mitsuko and I are walking along the streets of our home town. I've a good memory and this place hasn't changed at all so I can pick up some things.

"Do you want something?" we look up hearing typical Japanese from someone at the cute cakeshop I dragged her in.
Whoa. (-'_'-) I freeze at the spot when I see him. He's really handsome, but had a really annoyed expression on his face. Mitsuko spoke to him showing no fear while I was speechless.
After Mitsuko picked out five kinds of sweets all at once and he half-way insulted her, I thought, he's so rude! ;≧皿≦)American punks won't even speak like that! My eyes widen at his comment, but she rolled her eyes and urged him to just pack the cakes and shut up.

Sometimes Mitsuko can be really pessimestic, like now, she's judging the entire town with the first person she talked to. She snapped at me again, and like always, I can't think of a comeback for it.

A strange foreign-looking man tackled me to the ground shouting for me to 'pay for my food'. ヽ(#'Д')ノ he was yelling, I tried to get him off, but he won't listen. Mitsuko's being a jerk again.... I think when she showed a this-is-totally-hilarious-and-none-of-my-business-at-all face while she just watched at the side.
Tears are threatening to come up when the weirdo shouted in my face. Luckily Mitsuko still has half a heart, she threw the guy off of me---with him landing straight into a phone-post. Ouch. That's gotta hurt.
A loud voice boomed asking if I was okay, thinking it's probably a passer-by, I was about to thank him for asking, but then I look up, (°_°) h-he looks really scary! He was obviously really strong and built, probably two heads taller than me, and had spiky hair.

I was shut mute when the scary guy picked me up. Then, a boy around my age with black hair and is still wearing and apron rushed up to us and cleared the misunderstanding. It looks like he knows us, but how? I don't think I've seen him anywhere before? (°ー°?)

"Haruki?!" I shout.

~~
The short-but-reliable Haru, always looking after the others like a mature big brother.
~~

"...and this is Ryuzo Hatta..." Haru said. Ryu?
What? But...Ryu was like a tough big brother to all of us back then, we all counted on him. Now, he totally looks like a delinquent. How'd he turn out this way?

It was when Mitsuko denied Haruki that I realized, she probably feels bad, she can't remember anything about these guys...and all the fun times we had as kids.... I was being insensitive.

"...Takeshi Yuno..." Haruki introduced. Takeshi...?
"...the fast runner?" Mitsuko said. I was pleasantly bummed, ⊙▽⊙ has she had a bit of flashback just now? I didn't remember him until now....
