Hey everyone, welcome to my new story. There are some things to know for those who have read my other books.
The first thing is that this story is sort of a reinvented version of my MLB Kitty Noir story. That Story got discontinued because the vision I hate for it started to crumble, if that made sense. Originally the civilian reader would have become like a second owner to the Cat miraculous. This could have happened in several ways, but in the end it ended up to complicated with the lore for it to work, and I wanted to go with a more original approach for her eventual powers.
The book was fitted for a Mian point, that I wanted the reader and Plagg to be besties since he is one of my favorite characters. I didn't want to completely erase Adrien ad replace him with the reader, but it would get to complicated to have Plagg go back and forth between 2 owners, and again that doesn't fit the world lore. The story seemed like it would better fit a Plagg x reader, but that's not the story I wanted to tell.
I took a long break from the book to try to find new ideas, and I finally have enough to make a fitting story. I changed the Readers backstory a bit, but her personality is mostly the same, albeit more fleshed out. What I like about writing a more blunt cynical character is that you can use them in a story to point out flaws in the world and people around them. I love MLB, but I bet most fans can agree that the writing/character development has not been handled the best in the show. Many issues, like Marinette's obsession with Adrien going into stalker territory, never go addressed by others in the show. A more cynical character that will actually point these stuff out would help pave a path to solve these issues, more or less.
The romance will be the same as well. It will be a slow burn, with angst, one sided loves, and Hate to love relationships.
For those of you who liked Emma in the original story, your best friend, she has made a return in the same role in this Story. Stacy is no more, and Darrick/David? He is gone as well, but his personality is going to be very similar to that of your father in this story. Your mother will have an altered personality, but similar, and the reader's relationship with her will be more strained then in the original story. The reader will still be a civilian is some fights, but she will gain the source of her powers in the origin chapters. I don't want to spoil to much about her powers, so you'll have to read to find out. Also the love square is now a love hexagon, Wich will only get bigger once the side love interests enter the story, so I hope y'all ready for that mess!😆
