Tigress In Prison

Ch.2

Sunlight brushed in slowly through the bars. Clouds casting various shadows. Shifting a bit in bed before hearing footsteps echoed a bit. Y/n groaned before slowly getting up. Stretching a bit.

Pop pop!

Moving her body. Slouching a bit before lifting herself up. Rubbing the back of her neck slowly. Eyes opening adjusting to light. Sucking in a breathing. Clicking of boots caught her attention. Turning eyesight not body. Seeing meiko heading to her cell.

Y/n: "Ma'am."

Meiko stopped in front of the cell, pushing the door open. Going in then faced Y/n.

Meiko: "Miss Mari will want to discuss with you after the boys. She wants to talk about your sentencing. So I suggest you come with me so we will get set up."

Y/n: "Yes ma'am."

Meiko moved out with Y/n tailing behind her, trailing her fingers across her hair slightly. Taking in another breathe for a second. Hearing some yelling. What seemed to be the boys voices she hears. Possibly trying to argue with whoever their talking to. Meiko points towards the wall near the cell where the boys were in.

Meiko: "Wait here."

Y/n nods, leaning against the wall. Moving her jaw lift to right. Crossing her legs.

Tick tick. CLANG.

The cell doors open revealing the boys coming out from it. Y/n gazed at Kiyoshi.

Y/n: "Giving you a hard time huh?"

Kiyoshi sighs which gave the Y/n the answer before being gestured into the cell. Pulling the chair out and sitting down. Facing Mari as Meiko walked with the boys. Mari glared at Y/n, who glared back in return. Tension slightly filling the room only for it break.

Y/n: "How long is my sentence ma'am."

Mari was quiet before answering her. Having her hands onto the table.

Mari: "Since you didn't do to much damage. A month is how long your standing here. But if you attempt anything. Another month will be added. Do you have any questions regarding to any of this?"

Y/n: "Are we eating our food down here? Plus still working in classes but separate from students? Additionally studying too?"

Mari: "Yes you will be eating in here. But you will be separated from the boys when doing so. In classes you will away from students too but will still ask questions to teachers. Studying will still be allowed even after the working that will be put here."

Y/n: "I see. That's all I want to ask."

Y/n couldn't help but glanced at Mari for a long time. Her mind and body feel like she was familiar....  But couldn't put her finger on it. Having memories of this one girl from childhood. However it's been years since they last met.

Mari: "Is there are reason your staring?"

Y/n snapped outta her thoughts.

Y/n: "My apologies madam. It's just.... You feel familiar to me."

Mari was silent when upon hearing that sentence. That's when she felt the same emotions as Y/n. Ever since she watched from the window. They stare at each other more before Y/n spoke through thick air.

Y/n: "Is there anything else Miss?"

Mari shook her head.

Mari: "No there isn't."

Nodding Y/n gets up. Opening the gate before heading towards Meiko who awaited. Mari placed a hand under her chin. Thinking to herself. Heading outside as she stood next to the group with Meiko going to the front.

Meiko: "Time to get your hands dirty. Three days you'll have to build a barricade around the prison with materials provided."

Gakuto: "After school is strictly for my free studying."

Meiko hits him hard in the head, knocking him down. Putting one foot onto his head. Facing everyone else.

Meiko: "You will not speak without permission. Rest of you take note. Obey me or learn a similar lesson of manners."

The boys gulp while y/n stood in silence. The boys looked at the materials as Y/n however grabbed a stick. Drawing in the dirt. Meiko took notice standing beside her.

Meiko: "What are you doing?"

Y/n glanced at Meiko, silently. Waiting.

Meiko: "You have permission."

Y/n: "I'm planning."

Meiko: "Planning?"

Y/n: "Yes. If we're going to build a barricade best to plan ahead for future safety. Like if the storms come the logs will be tight in dirt. And the barb wire isn't lose. So no one gets hurt and the prison won't be destroyed. Barricade will be stable."

Meiko: "You seem to know about building.."

Y/n scratched her back with the stick.

Y/n: "Your talking to someone who learned this from her uncle who works in construction. He taught me theses things just in case if I do anything particular. Is it alright if I tell the guys about this?"

Meiko was silent but nodded, tighting her rod before nodding. Y/n immediately speed walked towards the guys. Waving at them. Meiko watched from where she was standing. Somehow or somewhat she... felt at ease when Y/n was near her. She didn't know why.

Why was she at ease near her?
