~Grace~
"No." Ricco says and I roll my eyes.
"Yes." I tell him.
"Grace, no."
"Ricco, yes." I tell him. He glares at me and I wink at him from the passenger seat.
My phone rings and I quickly grab it from my purse, seeing my father's name flash across the screen.
"It's my dad." I mumble, answering it.
"Hello." I answer the phone.
"Grace, put me on loudspeaker right now." I raise an eyebrow but I obey him.
"Ricco, you two are being followed, I need you to loose the car three cars down from you." My father tells Ricco and I instantly look through the mirror. A black van, exactly three cars down from us.
"Who's following us?" Ricco asks, mirroring my actions.
"I don't know. Definetly the Russians." My father tells Ricco. Ricco's grip on the wheel tightens and he switches lane.
"They don't know that they've been discovered, be mindful of that."
"Si." Ricco mumbles, looking into the mirror. Sure enough, the car follows us to the next lane.
"How long has he been following us?" Ricco asks.
"Five minutes before you made it to the supermarket." My father tells him. I take in breath, this life drives me mad.
"Ricco, you need to loose them." I mumble.
"I know Grace, I know." He says, he steps on the gas and the car volts forward. Ricco seems to be okay with driving after the accident, me however I'm a bit shaken up still.
"My men are tracking the plates of the car and your father sent a few of your men to follow both cars." My father says.
"Alright, we'll meet you at the house," Ricco tells my father and hangs up. A few seconds later, he passes some other cars, going straight, I keep an eye on the car behind us. They struggle to keep up with us.
"There's a street on the left, if you take it you can exit and head behind them," I tell him and he nods, taking a sharp left turn as we enter the street. He drives through the street, passing by the trees as if we're flash himself. But then he slows down, my breath drops and he curses under his breathe.
"How the hell did they get here so quick?" he asks. There's no way they could have done that.
"The other street was closed a long time ago, while you were in Italy. It has to be another car." I tell him, my finger in my mouth to make sure they can't see what I'm saying.
"The plates are the same Grace." He says, clearly getting frustrated.
"Ricco it has to be another car." I tell him.
"Turn around." I tell him but he scoffs.
"No." I shift my gaze from the car, which I'm certain isn't the same as the one that was following us on the main street.
"Ricco, it's not the same car, they couldn't get here before us," I tell him, very sure of my guess.
"The plates are the same."
"I can't explain that, but turn around and head back on the main street." I tell him, opening Maps on my phone.
"God you're gonna get me killed." He mumbles, turning around. The car doesn't follow us.
