Forced into this way of living as Jake was only seen as a filthy rat just because of his family lacked the richest to live a life of luxury. Food was hard to come by nowadays as he was often starved when he was younger unable to defend himself. This life was a living hell for him as his mother and father had died of a disease and no one cared enough to help them. He was alone in this world forced to live in a work house.
The place was infested with rats an illness, if he where to be sick the higher ups would just call him lazy for not working. When in reality the ones that have less, have done more than any other wealthy people in the world. Jake was often beaten by the men that have surrounded him ever since he was a child. They would often hit him for fun or just abuse him because he had done something wrong or didn't put enough effort into his work.
Child labor was often common. It was a sad truth. But who really cares as long as the rich get richer isn't that right?
Sighing Jake didn't think of much of his life anymore as he was now in his early 20s. It had surprised him that he managed to live that long when before him had died at the early age 10 or younger than that. He was a slave for this society that he was born in where if you have money you have power. And if you have power you can overly abuse that power and basically do what ever you want.
"Hey! Get to work!" Jake was yelled at once more running around like a madman. He was assigned in carrying all the heavy creates to the Myers house estate. Jake had to deliver them to the wealthy family that are known for own millions or billions. But rumour has it that its just the younger son that lives there by himself controlling all that happens in that very home.
It was quite impressive to say the least normally the son's of the father had to wait until their father has died or grown too old to run the family. So to be only 21 and become just as successful and much more than your parent is quite the achievement actually. Jake wished he was like that and being able to eat the food that he desires and live a nice and comfortable life. But for now that was only going to be a dream.
It's not like he has the ability to sueduce the only Myers family member left right?
