The very next day it all was the same for Jake as he moved boxes and creates around. Doing all of the heavy lifting as the elderly got to work creating with iron. Yeah... Another tiring day for those around him including himself.
But something was off today. Jake had noticed, all the workers had noticed. The higher-ups seemed almost nervous? Or perhaps ever scared? No they where more likely terrified but why? Who knows.
Michael was looking around the workhouse planning on buying the build and make it into a fully working factory. His business was always on metal working and crafting along with glass creating. As you can tell he likes to use his money for art. To be able to have those underneath him work on something that they can be proud of.
So now he was in search of the right people and a rather large space. That many can work on their craft. But so far he was disappointed with the lack of management and care. The build was dusty and needed replacing with a new. As for the workers they were all horrible. Michael felt utterly disgusted with how there where literal children forced to into the toxic industry. He never liked work places like these it turns his stomach.
And to think that the many adults mostly male enjoy forcing these children into slavery. Michael couldn't understand what was going through their twisted minds when they had thought up of the poor law. Making those of unwealthy family's suffer more than they already have for just existencing.
"What a miserable way to live." Was all that Michael says as he walked along side with the other high class men that have been surrounding him throughout this whole possess.
