It had been so long since I last ate I didn't have enough energy to do anything. Seeing Marciline was overwhelming I was happy to see her but I couldn't stay awake to spend time with her. My mind started to drift when I saw something

I saw the sun rising revealing a purple sky turning yellow.

I'm in a house walking to someone in a white laced dress. She looked beautiful. Her hair dark brown, wavy, long, and soft. She's holding something. It's a baby she's holding. I know her. Marcline I thought I felt joy in my heart. I put my arms around her waist under her arms to help her hold the baby. She smelled lovely like sweet roses and vanilla. I really love the way she smells.

"Good morning my love. Are you okay?" I whisper in her ear not trying to wake the child.
"Good morning Dawson. I'm fine. Look at it. It's beautiful. He will grow up safe. Right?" She said sounding worried.
"I-.."
~Marcline~
Dawson has been asleep for hours now. I'm starting to worry about him. What should I do.

Dawson said something about being hungry and with food comes water. I need to get Dawson food but I can't just leave him here laying in the meadow unsupervised. I need to be able to see him when I search for food. I need to know he's ok not alone when god knows what can get him.

I carry Dawson around while looking for food. Man is he heavy. Finally I find some fruit trees. I lay Dawson against a wall that had vines growing on it. Remember the world went in to war. There was damaged, empty building. "I'll be back soon Dawson please wake up." I kissed his forehead when a tear fell down. I left him alone. He'll be okay I know it.

~Dawson~
*gasp* I opened my eyes. I'm leaning against a wall. Why am I here? Wait didn't I see marcline. Where is she?

"Marcline! Where are you!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. There was no answer I tried to get up but I had no energy. "Marcline! Please answer me!" My voice cracked my throat was dry.
"Dawson? Dawson!!" That's her! I know it is but were is she. With what little energy I had left I moved just a bit to look at the tall trees.

*Thump*
Marcline had jumped down from the middle of the tree after climbing down. Wow she should have gotten hurt from that high up. The tree was about 60ft and she took a 30ft drop. Humans can't fall like that. Plus I thought I saw something come out of her back. I don't know I haven't eaten.

"Hey Dawson. You're finally up." Marcy looked at me happy and tossed me some fruit and handed me a bottle of water. "Eat up. I'll catch some meat later."

"Did you eat anything yet, Marcy."

"Yeah up there. I saw you moving and looking around so I came down."

"Oh okay...... man this taste so sweet. Thanks." I gave her one of my smiles that all the girls loved.

"Your welcome. Hm. I forgot how charming your smile was."

"Thanks."

Feeling better I got up and walked over to Marcline. She's a little shorter than me but not took much so I looked down a bit. Again I gave her my smile. She turned a little pink. Seeing her do that I felt sad that she might hate me soon.
