Author's pov 

Leonardo was waiting for Nick to come with information about her. 

he couldn't wait anymore, he wanted to know everything about her. when he saw a hint of darkness in her eyes last night.

The way she was talking and dealing with the situation there. He understood that she is not a kitten but a tigress, A roaring tigress.

The woman he met at the club was totally different from the woman he saw last night. maybe one night was not enough to know her at all, he thought.

he was leaning back in his office chair with a glass of scotch in one hand and other hand on his chin.

he was thinking about her when Nick knocked on the door and came in.

Nick was glad that his friends found the girl he always wanted, but he was worried too. he collected all the information about her and also heard and learned things about her which were not good. he understands that she is not a woman to be messed with, she is powerful. Not powerful like Leonardo, she doesn't stand a chance against him but she is not that weak either.

he sat in front of him and handed him the file. Leonardo snatched the file from him desperately and started reading.

'' Is that all Nick, What about her real family?. 

He asked placing the file back on the table.

'' We don't know, we tried to find out about it but it seems like someone deliberately erased all the information about her childhood and her real family. There is no trace of any information about her life before the age of 20''

He said looking confused. 

''Hmmm... keep digging, I am sure you will definitely find something important... ''

He said leaning back in his chair, He looked at Nick and noticed he is looking tensed

''What happened Nick, do you want to say something else''

He asked him curiously. 

''Y..yeah...'' He cleared his throat and continued. '' Are you sure about this woman, I mean do you really want her...? He asked carefully not wanting to provoke him. 

''What do you mean Nick, What are you trying to say. You think I am a fool to search her like a madman... Of course,  I want her, she will be mine.'' 

The calmness in his face was long gone, he was looking at Nick with narrowed eye's making Nick alert. 

''what wrong Nick... What happened?''

Leonardo asked him, he noticed that Nick is worried. It was clearly visible on his face. 

'' Do you remember, jack wood?''

Nick said looking at him.

''Yeah... I remember, That fucker, was a womanizer, a disgusting piece of shit, he raped women, used them like tissue paper, and destroyed their life, but he got bankrupt, right? What about him?

He asked confused. 

''Yeah, he got bankrupt, but just before that he tried to approach Anamika, I got this information from one of my sources that he even tried to sexually assault her but she saved herself, and that time her bodyguards  came. Even after that she didn't file a police case against him, I mean she was powerful at that time too, why didn't she inform the police about it And that's not it after that incident wood's & co started to collapse. His company went bankrupt and no one came forward to help him. Just after one month from that incident, he got totally destroyed, now he is begging on the streets. What do you think, how did that happened, jack wood was not an easy man either he was powerful too and people in the corporate world were saying that Anamika was behind it, she destroyed him, No one has proof but the fear we saw in blake's eyes was enough to confirm it''

Nick told Leonardo everything he heard about Anamika. 

Leonardo chuckled at him and Nick narrowed his eyes. 

'' why the fuck are you laughing, Dude I am serious This woman is trouble, I'm telling you?'' 

he tried to put some sense in his best friend's mind.

'' I know she is trouble Nick, I saw that darkness in her eyes last night. what do you think, how did she become successful just within 6 years. She knows, what to do and how to do things? she is smart, she knows how to play dirty And I fucking loving it..''

Leonardo said smirking at Nick. 

Nick's eyes widened at his words.

''Bro, I don't think she is your type...  Are you sure you can control her? because I don't think you can. She is a wild cat. Be careful''

Nick said smirking back. 

''She is not a wild cat, Nick... She is a tigress And I am going to tame her, just wait and watch. She is just my type, don't worry. As a mafia king, I need a queen who is capable enough to rule with me, and she is just like that. She knows how to protect herself and destroy her enemies after she built her own kingdom, she is different. I will make her mine, She'II be my queen.. soon''

He said and Nick shook his head, he knows once Leonardo decides something he will do it, No matter what. He was happy that his friend found his girl, he was happy for him. 

'' Just make sure one thing Nick, don't let her find out that we are mafia... No matter what, she doesn't need to know that, Not now at least''

He said in his serious voice. 

''But why?''

Nick questioned him curiously. 

''I want to know more about her, Everything I can't disclose my true identity in front of her just like that, She will get scared and it will become hard for me to deal with her so it's your responsibility, make sure she won't find anything about the mafia. If she can get internal information about blake's firm then she will try to find out about me too, we have to be careful, understood...?''

He said seriously and Nick nodded positively. 

''Don't worry about it. I'II handle it, And by the way, what's going on in your cunning mind''

''Nothing just, Going to pay a little visit to my tigress''

One more thing Nick, find that bastard jack wood from whichever street he is begging and I don't need to tell you what to do after that, or should I?''

He said smirking at him. 

And Nick smirked back evilly.

''Don't worry boss I'II make it painful''

He said playfully and left the office. 

'' I am coming for you tigress be ready'' 

He whispered darkly and chuckled to himself.
