Chapter 43

We reach the house and I quickly shift back and speed walk into the house bouncing on my toes. "Whoa, Jay. What's got you all wound up?" Emmett asks. I look up to see the Cullens and Bree looking at me. "Charlie knows. Sue and the Elders told him." I pant. "What do you mean he knows? Knows what?" Bella stands up. I look at her with wide nervous eyes. "He knows that you are all vampires." I mutter. "What? Why would they?" Bella begins to pace. As I start to chew on my lip I gain another vision. But it's hard to make out, really fuzzy in some parts. I saw Aro talking to someone being given a letter. Bodies falling to the ground, some lifeless others headless. Billy's wheel chair empty and blood splattered, Renesme, Alice, Edward, Jasper and Bella taken away from the fight, a flame covered torch being brought close to my face. I drop to my knees and clutches my head between my hands. Bree rushed to my side and held my tightly. "What's wrong Jay? What did you see?" She asked. My whole body started to tremble, and every nerve in my body felt like it was on fire again. Burning me from the inside out. Alice crouched down in front of me and I looked up at her. "I have heard those words to many times myself. You have the ability to see visions too? What can't you do?" She asked smiling. I nodded my head and wrapped my arms around my chest. I build up my shield before spreading it out to the others around me including the wolves. Everyone was quite processing what they had just seen. Bree tightened her grip on me and I could hear her grinding her teeth. "What should we do Carlisle? If the Volturi come again we won't win. Jay's vision proved that." Esme says turning to her husband. Carlisle remained silent, staring at me intently, lost in thought. "Jay, what else can you do?" He asks suddenly. I look at him with wide eyes. "Well, I am a shield, can read thoughts, have visions, control emotions, I can cause pain by staring, produce a smoke that removes senses, electricity can be produced though touch." I ramble. "You got those abilities by being near or touched by the vampire with the original power correct? That would mean you could also have Aro's ability of reading all thoughts from past to present,  Marcus's ability to see relationship ties." He says rubbing his chin. "But would they be useful, because it all depends on what kind of battle you want. I can easily change so much in the snap of my fingers and get us all killed." I mutter never getting up from the floor.
