Harry Styles was that one guy that anyone could fall head over heels for, with the voice of an angel and the ability to make very good pancakes, his café just so happened to be Wendy's favourite place.
'American Candy' was a small café which sold the worlds best American pancakes, it was no doubt the most well known café in Cheshire. Wendy often found herself there buying her usual chocolate chip pancakes with her best friend Connor, she loved the cosy atmosphere and of course the pretty boy behind the counter!
Connor had found Wendy when they were only 10 year olds and she had decided to climb a tree. Unfortunately she was highly clumsy and managed to fall out and land on the hard soil under the oak tree. Connor helped her and soon they became best friends; with common interests and the love of the same music, their friendship has lasted nearly 8 years. Wendy loved him with all her heart and adored the fact he was gay and proud, she found it highly inspiring and couldn't be happier when he first told her.
Wendy met her other best friend when she was 15 and had fainted at an All Time Low concert; Hayley saw her and quickly helped her to safety. Hayley was wild, her hair changed everytime you saw her and she had the ability to pull off any type of clothing! Hayley moved away to live with her boyfriend (Josh) but that didn't stop them seeing each other at every chance they could and Hayley encouraging her to speak to the pretty boy behind the counter.
Today is the 17th of April, Connor and Wendy are sat in American Candy waiting for their pancakes to be served to them. "I'm so hungry! What is taking them so long?" Wendy whined a little bit too loud. Lucky for her, their pancakes arrived seconds after but it wasn't their usual waitress Cassadee... "Sorry love, we're down on staff meaning we can't be as quick as usual" Wendy looked up to see who the voice belonged to, even though she knew exactly who that angel was. Harry gave her a darling smile and walked back to his usual place behind the counter, his brown ankle boots making sounds as he went.
Wendy sat in shock. He smiled at me, she thought... "Earth to Wendy!" Exclaimed a very confused Connor. Wendy quickly snapped out of her thoughts, she was always a daydream away it seemed. "Pancakes! Finally yay let's eat and go." Wendy rushed trying to cover the fact the love of her life just spoke to her AND smiled!
Maybe today was the start of something new...
