Techno sat in his room dumbstruck over what he'd overheard his siblings talking about. "They wanted to run away?" Techno mumbled. His hearth ached. He was having trouble to breath. Why did it feel like he was suffocating. Why was he crying?

Techno felt a tear roll down his cheek and panicked. He couldn't cry! He had to be the strong one. The one to fix their family. To be the stable one. He knew that Phil wasn't the best father nor was he mentally well at the moment. He knew Wilbur had some abandonment issues and depression over their father's neglect towards him. He knew Tommy had trouble eating. He saw whenever Tommy tried puking his food out and tried stopping him every single time. He didn't tell anyone over the fear of being taken away by social workers. If his siblings and himself were taken away he was going to be a failure. He wouldn't of been able to even fix his family.

So Techno started thinking over what he should do to try and stop his siblings from running away. He though about getting them gifts but he wasn't sure what they wanted so he thought that maybe he could make their dad apologies and try fixing it that way but he knew that it was basically impossible to get his father to do that. He'd know. He's tried it many, many times before and it has yet to of worked once.

He got it. He'd take his brothers with him to his favorite place in their small city. He'd take them to his safe space. The only place he could escape. Maybe they'd change their mind about running away if Techno showed enough trust in them to let them into his safe space. That was Techno's hope at least. And he wanted to hold onto it.
------------

Tommy and Wilbur had chatted for an hour or so until Wilbur said that he was going to make sure he had packed everything and left the room leaving Tommy there.

Tommy opened his closet and squatted. He reached to the back of it till his hand touched a small wooden box. He pulled it out of his closet and frowned. The small red wooden box decorated with a carving of a raccoon and two disks. Tommy sighed as he closed his eyes and opened the box. He opened his eyes to see an emerald earring and a pendant. Tommy smiled as he saw the earring he'd gotten from Techno. He knew it most likely wasn't an actual emerald but he liked the message behind why he gave it to him, Wilbur and Phil. Tommy wished every time he saw the small accessory that his ears were pierced, but he was never allowed to get them. Well at least till he was 13 or something. Tommy found it unfair as everyone else had their ears pierced in his family but he didn't complain.

Tommy looked over at the heart shaped pendant he'd gotten as a gift from Ranboo. It had a picture of set kid and a brunette in it. They were Tommy's closest friends and he wanted to keep them close. It hurt Tommy to know that the brunette had gone missing a long time ago, but he still had Ranboo and Wilbur... But then Ranboo left...will Wilbur leave Tommy too?

Tommy grit his teeth at the thought of his brother leaving him. He didn't want that to happen. So he was relieved when Wilbur actually decided to run away with him. "Me and Wilby will leave tonight..." Tommy mumbled a tear falling down his cheek. "I'm sorry moma. I don't wanna leave but I can't stay here anymore. It hurts to stay here." Tommy mumbled as he closed the box and hugged it. The box had been the last gift his mom had given him before she died. It was one of the best moments of his life. Phil had been a decent dad who cared for him, Techno played with him a lot, Wilbur seemed happy and his mom was still there with them. Tommy wiped his tears. It was useless to dread on something that had happened five years ago. After all, he couldn't change the past.

Tommy carried the box over to his red bag and placed it inside of it. He took a deep breath in and exhaled it out. He forced a big grin onto his face and walked over to Wilbur's room.
