Sleeping peacefully in their new shared bedroom, Taehyung was cradling a pillow to his chest. Usually waking up was not a difficult task for him as he was a morning person but yesterday sure was a tiring day.
Soon he was brought out of deep slumber by the continuous ringing of his mobile phone. He whined, "Aahhh, let me sleep" "Who is calling me this earl-" he stopped when his eyes fell on the room he was in. "Wait- where am I", Tae frowned and looked around totally forgetting about his wedding. He pursed his lips and brought both of his hands towards the sides of his forehead, pressing his fingertips on it struggling to think of the reason why he was there. He kept on murmuring God knows what. Then suddenly he gasped, his eyes widened and covered his mouth with his right palm. " Am I kidnapped? ", he spoke softly but with a bewildered expression. And got startled when he heard someone chuckle. He looked here and there trying to see the owner of the sound.
There stood the man he got married to yesterday, looking so damn attractive and hot in the office uniform, laughing his heart out and to Taehyung, it was the most beautiful and heartwarming view he had ever seen.
Even though Tae know nothing about Jungkook, that bunny smile along with that silvery laugh already stole his heart. He was looking at him with adoring eyes without blinking. His staring could not last long as the other male came towards him smiling widely shaking his hands in front of the male sitting on the bed with his mouth wide open, to bring him back to reality.
The cute-looking male turned into a tomato when he realised what just happened and quickly hid his face with both of his palms ducking his head down wanting the bed to swallow him to get away from this embarrassing situation.
In front of him stood the bunny boy grinning and looking at his adorable husband with a warm gaze. His father sent him back home when he reached the office saying he should spend time with his husband today. He's glad he came back or else he would've missed the most captivating and delightful moment of his life.
He was gonna call Tae first when he reached home but he stopped when he heard the other speaking something, so he stood quietly near the door, enjoying the view.
(Back to the present)
" Taehyung shi", Jungkook called softly coming closer to his shy husband who shook his head in response feeling shyer now. Jungkook chuckled at that keeping his hand on his heart thinking you'll be my death one day Tae. He slowly lifted his hands and gently held the bashful male's hand which hid his gorgeous face and pulled them away to see the male blushing, eyes shut.
"Look at me Taehyung shi", he said softly while caressing the hands he held which felt so delicate.
" Noooo, you were laughing at me", Tae murmured still not opening his eyes.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to laugh at you but I couldn't help it", said the other male trying hard to not squeeze his husband in his arms for being so cute.
Tae could feel his cheeks getting heated up by the way Jungkook was speaking to him and how delicately he held his hand as if they are made of glass. He was still not looking up and the other male thought he might be feeling embarrassed so he said, "Taehyung shi, Please look at me, I'm sorry for making you feel embarrassed".
The shy male now looked up and instantly regretted it because of the gaze he received which held so much adoration for him that made his heart beat faster. He tried to control his pounding heart and said, "N-no, don't say sorry. I was just embarrassed."
Jungkook smiled and said, "It's alright. We are married now, I hope you feel comfortable here" to which the other smiled and nodded.
"I guess you haven't eaten anything yet, I prepared breakfast for us. I had mine coz I had to go to work but my father sent me back saying I should spend time with you" said jungkook.
Tae got shocked knowing jungkook made breakfast for them while he was sleeping. He exclaimed, "Omo, you could've woken me up" to which the other just shrugged and said," I didn't want to disturb your sleep. You were sleeping so peaceful."
Tae was about to complain again but jungkook quickly said," It's okay, we can talk later, right now you go wash up and have your breakfast. Okay?"
The other nodded his head and was about to stand up but then he noticed his hands which were still in his husband's hold. He started blushing again and looked down confusing Jungkook.
"What happened Taehyung shi? Do you need anything?"
The sitting male just shook his head and lightly tried to pull his hands. This gesture made Jungkook look down and then he realised for how long they were holding hands more like him holding the other's hands and he swore to God, it was the best feeling ever. He wishes to keep holding these hands forever, he can't ever get tired of them.
But now he has to leave those warm hands. So he slowly let go of Tae's hand and said, "Did I make you feel uncomfortable?"
"No, you did not. It's just that I have to go wash up and have breakfast as you said", Tae spoke quickly to which the other nodded his head and stood aside giving him the way to leave.
They stood up and went to the washroom. Now Jungkook was alone in the room recalling the conversation they just had, smiling madly while folding the sheets. Then something caught his eye.
The breakfast he prepared for Tae. No not that, but the note he wrote.
He quickly ran towards the table kept aside from the bed and took the note and threw it in the dustbin.
" Phew, good that I noticed it or else it would've been so embarrassing."
After a few minutes, Tae came back into the room and asked Jungkook about breakfast to which he replied, "Yeah it's here. Let's take it down and there you can have it." With that, he took breakfast and both left the room.
Before leaving the room, Tae noticed how Jungkook cleaned the bed and made him breakfast too, all this was so heartwarming to him.
Guess his parents weren't lying when they said Jungkook is a good person. He is ready to give this marriage a chance.
