getting lost upstate (pt 1)

Y/N POV

I woke up with my phone ringing. I get up from my bed but I was hardly awake. walk over to the table and pick my phone just to see the words 'kaiii' I yawn and decline. He'll understand, right? I go back to bed and hear the phone ring again. "Ughhhh" I go back to the table and pick up the call.

"Heyyy" Kai says from the phone. "Hi" I say lazily. "Why'd you decline my call hun?" he asks. "I was sleeping Kai, you woke me up." I snap. "Sorry, forgive me please?" he ask with hope. "Of course, I always forgive you." I say. "So how's it going in upenn?" he asks. "It's going amazing." I say. Kai is pretty protective, so I probably won't till him about Noah or Luke. "Did you met anyone?" he asks. Oh no, this is what I feared. "Well I uh um met two guys, Noah and Luke." I stutter out. "Oh" is all I hear from him. "Look I know you're protective of me and that you care about me, but trust me, don't worry about them. They are just my friends, okay?" I say confidently. (Alot of confidence huh 😏) "Okay, fine just don't get- you know what forget it" he says before scoffing. "What, you can tell me." I say with a curious tone. "I just don't want you to think I'm not good enough, I don't want you find someone else." he says. So here's the thing, Ivy and I caught Kai almost cheating on me, a few months ago but he told me it was a dare. I trusted him.

(Flashback)

I was listening to 'Endgame' my favourite taytay song. Then I got a call Ivy. I picked it up.

"You stopped me from listening to reputation, so this better be good." I say while ivy chuckles. "Oh I'm sorry that you didn't get to listen to taylor, but your bestie got a date, and she needs your help, so if you agree we can go shopping." She says with a sarcastic angry tone. "Oh I'm so sorry i forgot, I'll be there in 30, byee!" I say rushing towards the closet to get my sunglasses cause it was pretty sunny. "Ok, byeeee!" she says while I end the call.

(Time Skip)

"Heyy" Ivy says. "Hello!" I reply. "Where do you wanna go first?" "Let's go to H&M" she replies. "Sure" I say with a soft smile.
When we reach H&M, we see Kai hugging a girl, which I don't mind at all. Then they kissed. I was in great shock, Ivy gasped, which was loud enough to get kai's attention. When his eyes land on me, he started walking up to me, which i denied. "y/n, please listen to me, it was a dare ask any of my friends, you need to believe me please." he was practically begging. "How the hell am I gonna believe you ,you just kissed another girl!" I tell. "Please it was a dare, just trust me" his eyes start watering. "Ok, promise me you'll never do dares like this again." is all I manage to say. "I promise" he says.

(End of flashback)
