Chapter 2

B.P.O.V
What? They want to adopt me the loser, is this some kind of sick joke why me I thought everyone hates me. I'm shocked I thought they would of left with Britney but here they are in front of me saying those 6 words that I never thought I would ever hear.
"Bella?" Ashton questions.
My head snaps up and before I can even process what is happening I reply with a quiet and quick
"Yes". They all smile really big the others are even taller I swear I only go up to their waist or something , I never thought I would even have this thought in my head and it's if I can trust them I mean they seem harmless but who am I to kid they could be acting.
"I'll go pack my things" I whisper before making a beeline for my room.

I slam the creaky door shut and take deep breathes this is really happening this is how I am leaving this awful place. I grab my bag from under my bed and throw my small amount of stuff in it. As I am just about finished a loud shriek makes me jump about 10 feet in the air.
"They what!" Someone screams oh wait it's Britney sigh.
"How could someone as cool as 5sos adopt someone as ugly as you!" She basically scream. Ok seriously this is starting to bug me what is 5sos.
"Brit I have no idea what you are talking about" I answer quietly still packing clothes away.
"You don't even know them for shits sake seriously you don't deserve this you deserve to be left with nothing" she practically growls. Why would I even know them they only came this morning, I am so confused and lost in thought I didn't even realise that Britney had launched herself at me and next thing I know I am on the floor holding my arm that I landed on quite hard if you ask me.
"You worthless piece of crap! They deserve me more than you" she screams while punching me in the face. I struggle against her strong grip trying not to scream out in pain it feels like a lifetime until someone yells
"Hey get off of her!". Suddenly Britney is off of me and on her feet looking as innocent as ever I turn my head slowly and see one of my new "guardians" the one with blonde hair and blue eyes. He quickly makes eye contact with me then comes rushing over to help me up.
"Omg what happened? are you ok? Is anything broken?" He fires thousands of questions at me my head kills my face feels on fire and the rest of my body feels numb.
"I'm fine" I whisper while trying not to complain as I have caused enough trouble already.
"You don't look fine" he whispers back while brushing his hand over probably a ugly bruise on my face. I flinch at the sudden contact and look away tears threatening to escape.
"Omg Luke hi" Britney decides to add in and make her way over to us. I back away as she comes over scared of what she will do to me even though I should be used to it, Luke i guess that is his name wraps an arm around me protectively and replies
"I would appreciate it if you could please back away as I believe you have caused enough trouble"
"What no it wasn't me we love each other right Bella?" Britney quickly rushed in a sweet tone but believe me her glare is intimidating and for some reason I feel safe in Luke's arms even though I have only known him for not even an hour.
"I..uhh.umm" I struggle to find the right words as if I will tell him that we are friends but then if they bring me back what will I have to face.
"By the bruise on her face I don't believe you guys are friends" he says with a frown and goes to grab my bag from my bed.
"Ahhhh fine you know what Bella is a ugly fat loser you guys are making the wrong decision she should just die" she screams with so much hatred I can't help but let a few tears slip away I told you I'm sensitive and when someone tells you you should die it makes you feel awful trust me. She storms of to god knows where while I stand there shocked about what just happened the tears running down my face like a waterfall.
"Hey love don't listen to her you are beautiful and I am lucky to of found you" Luke States while wiping my tears away and giving me a massive hug.
"Thank you Luke for standing up for me it's the first time someone has" I say gaining a bit of confidence is it weird that I feel like I have none Luke for my whole life like he is my own brother I just feel so safe around him.
"Anytime babe no one is allowed to hurt my baby girl" he says with so much love it makes me want to cry again of course happy tears I smile really big for the first time in 4 years and hug him again enjoying his warm embrace.
"I think it's time we leave this place" he says while grabbing my bag and taking my hand.
"I can carry my bag" I ask not wanting him to have to worry about my stuff.
"It's fine love I have it" he smiles down at me I smile back and walk towards the door.

We reach the main room where Ashton and the two other guys I haven't meet before are standing there talking I feel so awkward and shy at the moment not wanting to embarrass myself.
"Hey love I'm Michael" the one with blonde/white hair says while smiling and giving me a massive hug I smile back and hug him.
"And I'm Calum" the last one says while also smiling and giving me a hug.
"Hi I'm Bella" I reply back to both of them then looking down force of habit I'm shy remember. "It's ok babe no need to be shy" Luke says while taking my hand again. And we all walk to the car I guess this is it the last time I will be here hopefully. I turn my head around and glance at the old orphanage for the last time.
"Goodbye" I whisper to myself before stepping into the car. This is it a new chapter in my life hopefully good I think it will be I wonder what will happen and for some strange reason I am really excited to start my new life with Michael, Calum, Luke and Ashton.
