RENHYUCK
"what are we?"

━━━ ━━━ ━━━ ━━━ ━━━ ━━━

renjun stared from across the room — unbeknownst to him, he was gripping for dear life on the empty glass of whatever alcohol he chugged down moments ago whilst watching his dear friend who invited him in this party.

donghyuck was just hanging around with the ladies, talking friendly and sharing relatable stories — something an extrovert would do on a daily basis, if that means stereotyping them.

however, shit didn't go well in renjun's eyes. perhaps he was just overlooking at how he noticed that the ladies were a little too clingy and close, but for sure he wasn't liking it.

he was jealous, it was evident. but the young chinese didn't want to admit it — plus, you didn't hear it from me. rolling his eyes, the male harshly slammed the glass in the table, making sure it wasn't that hard to break it, though no one seemed to notice as the music was blasting and everyone was occupied.

closing the door behind him, renjun was about to heave a deep sigh of relief to take a break from the chaotic event inside when he mentally facepalmed for choosing the bathroom instead of the outside world.

at this point, he just wants to go home and do what he mastered — sleep.

renjun immediately made his way out of the bathroom as he was starting to become uncomfortable at the noises the couple were making. of course, not wanting to mind their business and witness something unholy, he decided to let them be and go outside — somewhere far from the shit that's happening inside the house.

"oh? renjun!"

great, the male thought before dropping his jealous face and replacing it with a bored look. "hey."

"what are you doing out? there's more drinks inside, should i get you a beer or something?" jaemin slurred, obviously tipsy at the alcohol he's drinking and his lips look awfully bruised to prove that he just made out with someone that's easy to guess.

"um, no thanks. i'm good." renjun declined, giving out a forced smile to at least persuade the male that he's fine out. "besides, i'm sober enough from the glass of whiskey."

"you know, you gotta let loose sometimes—"

"jaemin, leave him be."

of course, he just had to see jaemin and his "boyfriend" — quoted because they weren't at any dating stage but everyone knows they have feelings for each other and make out a lot — act all concerned and lovey-dovey in front of his salad.

whilst occupied, renjun took the chance to get away from the two of them and walked out of the big ass house, about to decide that he's going to walk around when he remembered donghyuck left his car keys on him.

maybe a rest will do while waiting for this party to end.

renjun's eyes shot open.

he was about to sit up when he heard someone hush him down and caress his hair, wanting him to go back to dreamland at how soothing the action was. renjun's lips was sewn shut as donghyuck hummed a soft tune without any effort yet he executed it perfectly and attractively — it just made the chinese's heart pace up.

"h...hyuck?" renjun's voice faltered, a strong wave of sober hit him with just that shot of whiskey.

donghyuck didn't reply and just stared straight ahead. renjun noticed they were in the back seat, a half-empty bottle of gin can be seen on the floor of the car and all doors were open — including the back. the male didn't know where they were, but they are for sure somewhere away from the house and somewhere more secluded, yet still around the area.
