Mark was the best friend anyone could have. He was handsome, smart, friendly, sporty and any compliment you could ever think of. Although he seems like a happy-go-lucky person, under that perfect face of his, lies a deep dark secret that no one knew of.

Donghyuck's the complete opposite who just wants to graduate school with his average grades and find a mediocre job.

But what happens when two worlds collided?

It was the same normal day for donghyuck. He woke up,ate his breakfast and headed out to school. He arrived fairly early but was still greeted by gwi-seong, your typical high school bully. ❝Where do you think you're going, servant?❞ exclaimed gwi-seong.

Long story short, after finding out that donghyuck parents works under his, he took advantage of the situation and made (forced) Donghyuck signed a contract with gwi-seong so donghyuck parents won't lose their job as they're working under gwi-seong parents' company.

❝O-oh, here's your science report and essay. Is there anything else?❞ replied donghyuck. ❝Well, help me buy-❞ gwi-seong was cut off by a light hearted laughter. ❝Don't be so mean, gwi-seong. Leave the poor boy alone,❞ exclaimed Mark, as he approached to the two boys. ❝Mind your own business, will you? I'll talk to you later,❞ said gwi-seong.

❝Oh? But me and donghyuck here have a project and it's due this week. Let's go to the library hyuck, I'm sure we'll find of infomation for our project.❞ said Mark. ❝Oh, okay. I'll help you buy your stuff later gwi-seong!❞ yelled donghyuck as he was dragged away by Mark.

❝Thank you so much , Mark,❞ donghyuck was grateful for mark because no one dared to stand up against gwi-seong.❝No worries! Besides, I've stopped him countless of times from bullying someone else. Anyways, you wanna hang out later during lunch break?❞ asked mark. ❝But I still have to buy something for gwi-seong-❞ donghyuck was then cut off by Mark. ❝You don't need to buy anything for him.❞ Mark frowned. He found donghyuck buying gwi-seong stuff, doing his homework everyday, extremely unfair. ❝Stay by my side later and don't let gwi-seong come near you, okay?❞ asked mark. ❝Okay,❞ replied donghyuck softly. As the two locked eyes with each other, they knew it was a start of something new. A new friendship.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. Mark and donghyuck have been spending time together and they were inseparable. But donghyuk always felt like mark was hiding something.

One day when the two were cleaning their classroom, donghyuck accidentally hurt himself. ❝Ouch!❞ he yelled. ❝What happened? Are you okay?❞ asked mark. ❝I'm fine, but there's a cut on my finger,❞ replied donghyuck. Mark heard him but he was acting strange. He turned around facing the wall and ignoring donghyuck. ❝Mark, are you okay?❞ No answer. ❝Mark what are you doing-❞ the said male then turned around making donghyuck go speechless. The tan-skinned brunette was gone and was now replaced by paled-skinned, raven haired Mark. But donghyuck didn't noticed these changes, he was focused on the two sharp teeth sticking out of mark's mouth, just like fangs.

❝Mark, you're not yourself, stop please!❞ Donghyuck begged desperately while mark was nearing towards him. ❝Help! Someone please!❞ Donghyuck kept shouting, but no one was there to hear him. ❝Hyuck,❞ The cold voice called out to him. Donghyuck look over just to be met with a pair of bloodthirsty eyes looking at him. Mark smirked at him, and he could see those fangs of his sticking out of his lips. ❝I've been waiting for this moment to come. Thanks for accompany me for these few months, it was fun while it lasted. But sadly, you have to go,❞ mark faked a pout and took big strides towards donghyuck. He then lean towards Donghyuck's neck and whispered, ❝but don't be too sad. Out of everyone I've bitten, you'll always be my favourite.❞ screams filled the room. What a pity that no one was there to save him.

As darkness engulfs donghyuck's vision, he could hear faint yelling of his name. He slowly opened his eyes and then he could hear the yells loud and clear. ❝Wake up donghyuck! You're going to be late for school !❞

Notes: hi hello its been a while ik. Yes, you've guessed it. This is indeed the essay I was talking about, the one where I haven't stanned nct yet and wrote a story a bout mark and Peter and etc. Fun fact, the so called vampire, is still mark but the bully was supposed to be donghyuck lmao and donghyuck was supposed to be jisung. Anyways I hope you enjoyed reading it and yall better appreciate it cuz this essay won first place in a competition👹👹👹  /jjjj
