It was late night and it has been hours after kaeya went back to mondstadt due to Grand acting master jean being worried for his safety, You found a note on your door written by kaeya when he left "If your reading this you stink 😪" You laugh at it closing your room door, You turn and see The adeptus at the balcony watching the moon???

 He did say it was for idiots but what else could he be doing? You walk down and talk to the chef smiley yanxiao "Hey uhm,, Can i get...Calla lilly soup? Oh and noodles with mountain delicacies?" The chef gives you a weird look "Uhm,, sure? the fee is.. 40 mora." You pay him the mora and get the dishes

"The moon is awfully bright. my eyes kind of hurt.." I tell myself in my thoughts, I can smell food coming from the kitchen, Yanxiao is probably cooking..but why so late? Maybe its just dinner for himself...again. I wounder.. does yanxiao have like a wife or anything? i lean on my left hand holding my head up on the balcony I hear footsteps behind me "Hello? Mr adeptus.." I look behind me and its the traveler.. from yesterday. "Well, Hello there Y/n..Why do you have 2 bowls in your hands-?" Its probably what yanxiao was cooking

. "I just wanted to apologize for what i did earlier i--" "No no, its alright your not to blame for feeling uncomfy" I can notice y/n genuinely apologizing, weird for someone with absolute no manners "Its just-.. Im sorry for being rude to you and i left without an excuse out of, fuck what's the word? I was confused on why an adeptus wanted to talk to me and ask my name it just caught me off guard and i didn't mean to be rude. so im here to make it up to you, by offering you mr adeptus dinner." Im shocked on what they said it seemed so genuine and i didn't want to seem rude by denying dinner.

"Its alright but please take a seat. its not comfy to eat standing." Y/n nodded their head and sat across from me, it was quite nice to have a talk with them as for we surprisingly had a lot in common, We both liked the same music, books, tv shows, games It was nice to talk to someone about this And for the first time in a while i gave a small smile.

"I heard theres a new update coming to minecraft!" Their saying it so happily and their expressing it so well. "Oh Really?" I take another bite out of the soup, it was a little cold but its fine. It was past mid night and starting to get really really cold. "Well mr adep--" "Xiao." 

                                                             "What?"

                                                    "Call me xiao."

                                                      "Okay.. Xiao."

I smile at y/ns response, I've actually found out y/ns great friends with the twins, Im also quite well acquainted with them as well. their really good friends of mine, "and then i met morax!" i grab my thigh tight out of shock that they know who zhongli is. "Wait you know you zhongli is? Morax?"  Y/n puts their chopsticks down "You know him?" I smile a bit and nod in response "Uhm yeah actually, Hes the one who gave me my name and practically raised me" Y/n tilts their head to the side "So a father figure?" I glance at the moon and back at y/n " Uhm Y-yeah! I guess so." Y/n stands up and cleans after themselves "Well you can practically see the sun rising, I should get some rest! Goodnight or.. morning?" I can hear y/n chuckle "Anyways fare well xiao!!"

I clean my mess and take a leave towards the balcony again "Farewell Y/n rest well."
