Why, Special Powers: Amu's parents were a part of the Snake Pit, when Ashtem found out Amu's mother was pregnant, he decided to experiment on one of the twins, he chose Amu. So Amu is very strong (but you can't see her muscles unless she flexes) and has powers (not much), because of the Snake Pit.
