It all started when I was 4 years old, my parents got divorced and of course I went with my mother, it was the worst decision I've even made.
mother found a new man and completely changed, after 1 month they started calling me names like slut, little shit or whore, none of them thought it was wrong, the next months i had been beaten up badly, I had scars, bruises, scratches...
at the age of 17 my step father stabbed my shoulder...
•flashback•
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry please don't hit me" I said with tears in my eyes but he wouldn't budge.
All of a sudden he stopped and stormed out of the room, I let out a freedom sigh but then he came back to the room with a big fighting knife.
"You slut how dare u disobey me" he yelled
"NO no please I'm so sorry" I said then he held knife up then right in my shoulder blood started dropping so fast, the sharp pain didn't go I felt my eyes starting to black out, the last thing I heard was "don't let this bitch die, she had been a very good punching bag" it was him talking to a guard.
•end of flashback•
At the age of 18 I packed my bags and took some money, I decided to runaway to new York it was pretty far from Canada, I was able to get a job as a waitress and buy a small apartment for me, I knew mother and him had a nasty job, they were in the Canadian mafia, they do human traffic, rape, kill, destroy families...
The first day as a waitress was the best, I met my co-worker who is now my best friend ava, she was always there for me it had been 3 years of friendship.
I'm really really grateful to have her, she taught me how to fight as self defense, I was going to give up on life that day I woke from the 1 year coma in a hospital, I had nothing to live for but I had the idea to runaway, and I did.
And here I am Alessandra Grey holding in for life hoping that it would be this way forever.
