When I wake up I get a notification that I haven't been on the planets information network for the last 11 days, I then get the slight feeling of movement, getting up I notice that I am in a medical bay, with nothing around to defend myself, no gear in sight. Crouching I sneak around into the hallway, moving from room to room, finding nobody, until suddenly a door opens up and a person walks out, suddenly seeing me I tackle him before he can say anything, landing with a large thump I grab him while I role, sending him in a large arc, straight into a huge group of people, that's when I realize that I am in a huge room, filled with people, maybe around 200 people all staring at me. Then suddenly people start to clap, and some people whistle, and people start shouting and chanting ¨SHADOW!SHADOW!SHADOW!¨ then an arm clamps around my shoulders and I hear, ¨welcome to our crew buddy, you are on the Maple Death, I'm the captain, and well, I guess I'm your aunt or something, I can explain it in a bit, but first there is an announcement you must hear.¨ I watch as a semi young women walks up into the middle of the room motioning for silence, ¨as most of you know, our last co-captain died defending this ship about a month ago, well I would like to announce that we now have a new co-captain, that new person is Shadow!¨ suddenly the whole room explodes like one big time bomb of noise, people screaming and clapping and whistling. I honestly don't know what to do, half of me wants to be happy, the other half wants to run and figure out how to destroy every person on this ship. After a minute the captain turns and drags me out, taking me to the bridge of the ship, where there isn't a single person. Sitting me down in a chair she sits down next to me and begins. ¨your mom was right, you are the one, you killed 156 fully trained and armed people in under 2 hours, and wounded many more crippling Craig's men, who have been trying to impose their rule amongst the stars, there are others, but he has really been one of the biggest pains in our rears. By the way, I'm sorry about the needle thing, you just seemed a little insane, and I was afraid you would kill me, which I'm sure you're wondering who I am. Well, the simplest way to say it is this, so your great great great great grandmother had two kids, one was taken as a slave to go fight on that planet we rescued you from, while the other escaped, both kept having children until it came to me and your mom, I was the one to contact your mom, and she wanted me to rescue you, but from what she told us she realized that you could help us free the galaxy, so I guess I'm your mother's cousin or sister or something like that, you can just call me Jess, and I guess you must be Serdin, or well I think your mother said that you like to go by Azy, so it's nice to meet you, and sorry if I talk a lot, I am just super energetic, I have always been that way, I think it's called something like ADHD or something like that, honestly I have no clue.¨ I sit digesting all of that information, then I reply ¨ok, well then I guess I must first ask a question, how many soldiers do you have?¨ ¨she stares at me for a minute before replying ¨well none actually, like we all know how to fight, but we don't have a smart AI on this ship, so everybody pretty much helps to run it, so there isn't much time to train anybody¨ smiling I state ¨well let's change that¨ then I spin around and face the main holographic table currently displaying the ship and begin to type, opening up a connection with Spaid, then I have him make a copy of himself and pair it with the ships simple Ai, making a new AI entirely, to run the ship. I watch as Jess watches in amazement as this new AI takes shape, once it is done I look over and state ¨Time to start training everybody here, you all need to learn how to fight professionally, so go and get everybody and let's go find a spot to train.

E ended up training everybody in the big hall where I had originally found them, which I later learned was the mess hall, I enjoyed training, it really helped me see how far everybody was with fighting techniques, which was, in reality, non-existent, most of the crew couldn't even throw a punch properly, much less hold a sword or gun properly, so we spent weeks training and training, drifting through space, occasionally stopping to buy food or supplies, or stopping on planets to hunt our own food, which was fun to see other planets and see what wildlife was on them, we enjoyed ourselves, and I got to know and remember almost everybody's name, and I learn how to perform repairs and work the weapons on the ship, I learned so much, and I truly enjoyed it, but I do wish that my mother and father were here to enjoy it with me, and I would often sit and watch the memories on the chips, plugging them into the data slot in my quarters, which was close to the bridge, where I could sift through them and watch as my parents played with me as a kid, I did that almost every night, and would often cry myself asleep, wishing that they were free with me.
