Calico (yoonmin)

Yoongii was coming home from a long, cold day at work. Just as he was about to unlock his door, he heard a small noise behind him. He thought to himself, 'it's probably just the neighbor's cat.' so he turned around and saw a very dirty kitten looking up at him. The small creature longed for warmth and food, so he made his eyes bigger and glossier, to try and get the better of Yoongi.

When Yoongi saw how desperate the kitten was he picked him up and brought him inside. "You can stay here until we find your owner alright?" he said as though the kitten would respond. "Do you have a name?" The kitten just sat there on the heat vent getting warm, he didn't even hear the man. "Alright, I'll just call you Minnie from now on." The kitten purred and nuzzled against Yoongi. The man picked Minnie up and pet him.

A little while later Yoongi had given Minnie some food, they ate dinner together, and now they were watching a movie. Minne was sound asleep on Yoongi's lap. "Your purring is so cute" Yoongi whispered and he petted him softly. By the time the movie was over, they were both fast asleep.

~*in spongebob narrator voice* two hours later~

Yoongi woke up to the kitten meowing loudly and pawing at his chest. "Mmm what time is it?" He groaned. He checks his phone and winces at the bright light. The time read 2:00 am. He groaned again and got up, Minnie following after. Yoongi stretched and went to go to the bathroom, Minnie still followed him. As Yoongi opened the door, Minnie walked in first and Yoongi smiled. "You can't be in here with me Minnie." The kitten looked at him and meows while rubbing against Yoongi's lower legs.

~time skip~

It was now the afternoon and the pair were on a walk. (yes Minnie was on a leash LOL) As the two were walking, they found a small forest and decided to go in there. They found a bunch of mushrooms and cool looking plants. Yoongi took lots of pictures. He started to think of what this would be like if he brought the love of his life here, it was so pretty. But sadly, they didn't exist. "Man, sometimes I wish you were human." Yoongi sighed to himself, bending down to pet the kitten. Minnie perked up at this and leaned into Yoongi's hand, purring softly.

A little later Yoongi found a broken down log and sat on it, letting Minnie roam around for a bit. Minne saw a cool looking mushroom and started to sniff it, he thought it smelled good so he licked it. He thought it also tasted good so he ate it. Yoongi then walked over a bit too late as the kitten was almost done eating the whole thing. Yoongi snatched the mushroom away from the small kitten and looked at it, he had never seen a mushroom that looked like this. He looked down at Minnie, hearing him meow in discomfort. He pitied the poor boy and pet him softly. He put the leash back onto his collar and started walking him home.

A few minutes have gone by now, Minnie was making sounds that Yoongi has never heard a kitten make, he looked different to Yoongi too. "What's the matter bud?" Yoongi asks him knowing he wouldn't be able to answer. They were aproaching the local park and Yoongi was looking around and saw that no one was there. He looked back down to see a frail looking boy at his feet with a broken leash next to him. Yoogni panicked. "W-Where's Minnie?!" The boy just looked at him and meowed, rubbing his head against his legs. "Wait... a-are you.. Minnie?"The boy looked up at him and nodded.

Hey guyssss~ author-nim here! I just wanted to write a fanfic about a lonely guy that finds this kitten and the kitten eventually turns into a human heh
But tell me if y'all want a part two! This will probably get nOwhere but oh welllll it's for a bit of fun.
