Vultures around the net

We were in our gear and on the ice when orion skated out with two trash cans. "One thing about varisty that they have is great defence" orion picks up a trash can "they're vultures around the net" he dumps out the first trash can "they pick up every piece of garbage you need to do the same" avermen picks up a bagel "got any cream cheese" orion dumps the second trash can "Yea I do" I throw a mildly block of cheese at Avermen and he ducks and it hits Dwayne in the side "that's nastier than goat crap" I chuckle at his answer "keep 'em out cat lady" orion yells to Julie and we all take turns shooting trash at the net or clearing it "change sides" I was now keeping trash away from the goal "let's go come on come on" orion started throwing cans at us "alright" we stopped "clean this up" he pointed to the trash cans "and then trade those for roller blades we're going to clean the streets" "let's go ducks!" Orion just chuckled when I said ducks and we cleaned the rest of the trash up and skated to the locker room pulling on our roller blades "ready let's move" orion banged on the door and we rushes out to the streets. Orion held a trash can at the corner while we had to skate by and pick up loose trash from the road "let's go come on vultures around the net let's go!" Orion clapped and once we finished cleaning we arrived back at school. "You guys look great but you aren't playing like warriors you're playing like something else" he opens a brown box "you're playing like ducks and that's what you'll play like tomorrow in the showdown" I smile and Charlie jumps to grab his duck jersey and I grab mine "Sweet you aren't so bad Ted I knew there was a reason my dad chose you" I smile and out my jersey in my locker "here's the rest of the pads" he pulled out other boxes and we found out pads and duck helmets. And put them in our lockers and left them for tomorrows game. "We've got this" I jump on Fultons back and we walk he drops me off at my dorm before going to his I quickly kiss his lips and shut the door "we're gonna kick varisty ass" Julie pumps her fists "keep your eyes on the puck not scooter" Connie teases "I don't even like him I might a little" Julie blushed "oooooooooooo" I tease and Julie laughs "go to sleep we've got butt to kick" I nod and turn off my lamp. "Goodnight girls" I shut my eyes thinking of what my dads doing right now. He went to Chicago that's when it hit me I jump up in my bed and gasp "what?!" Connie says concerned I decide to keep the secret "nothing I thought I forgot something in the locker room I didn't" I lay back down and smile. Shutting my eyes letting sleep take me into my dreams
