I opened my eyes and saw mom sleeping beside me. I touched the top of her hair and she immediately looked up.
"Gaille" I saw tears fall from her eyes
"I'm back mom. Back and good as new"
"Am i not dreaming?"mom said that brought a smile in my face. It's been so long since I saw her.
"Gosh..." she said and caressed my cheeks and kissed me on the forehead
"I miss you mom"
"I also do baby"
"Where are the oth..." i didn't finished what I was about to say when the door and lights opened.
"Happy Bir....." I saw everyone entered the room with a cake and party hats on their heads. I saw daddy Albert, Jaise,mom,dad, Elly, Matt, Amielle, Rei-Rei, Rowel, Marlon, Rose and Lucas. They all seemed they saw a ghost that caused me to burst out in laughter
"Sh..she's awake?" Elly
"I can't believe this" Rei-Rei
"What? Not happy that I'm back?"
"We missed you!" Jaise said and ran to me opened arms and hugged me as well as daddy,mom and dad. I just smiled and gave them each a warm hug
"Daddy, Big sis, mom and dad I also missed you" they again seemed so shocked and questions were marked all over their faces
"You can remember us?" Jaise said
"definitely. Why wouldn't i?" I smiled
"You just did before" Matt said
"Yeah yeah...okay. fine. I'll tell you guys the story later, but first can I have water please i feel so dehydrated. " mom gave me glass of water to drink
"And second. What's with the cake? "
"Oh...sweetie... it's your birthday " i looked at the watch I had and saw the time and date.
"Wow! That took me so long to get back?" I said and again i saw their funny looking faces that never failed to make me laugh
"Okay I'll tell you guys..." i just started talking and talking. I told them about Samantha that Rowel and Marlon encountered and Joanne that was the result of me forgetting again... everything okay!... and now I'm back Gaille... not Samantha and not Joanne. But they still live in me... their memories and the way they talk and do things still remains in me. And they taught me a very valuable lesson. And that is not to let your past ruin your future and always be positive in anything you do and specially trusting in God's plan for us.
"So that's a long story ah... now can we eat? I'm starving " we we're all eating when Lucas came my way and whispered something
"I'm sure your tired already and sick somehow with the situation but still im thankful that you came back" he slowly took a step back and I saw tears in his eyes and something crack within me. I wiped the tears from his eyes and he slowly touched my hand and kissed it. He also leaned a bit to kiss me on the forehead. I felt heat went up to my face and pinched my cheeks
"Blushing eh?" I felt warmth in his every touch. I think im in love... ♥♡
