It's been a week since Taylor has been announced dead. I haven't let the kids come home yet. If I see them I see Taylor. It's hard to believe the love of my life is gone. I will never be able to see her smile. Hear her laugh. See her dimples. Everything. I miss her like crazy
RING RING
I put my beer bottle down and got up to answer the phone
Jacob:hello?
Doctor:Mr.Perez we have wonderful news
Jacob:how is my wife being dead wonderful news
Doctor:no Mr.Perez she's alive. We don't know how but one of our specialist came in and saw her chest rising. We think her monitor was pulled out and caused us to think she died. We are very sorry
Jacob:so you mean to tell me you made me go into a week of depression and not being able to see my kids cause you made a stupid ass mistake!!! You know what I'm coming now and I better be able to see my wife and if not I will beat your ass
I hung up the phone grabbed my keys and walked out the door. I started my car and drove off clenching the wheel. I can't believe she is alive
🏥Hospital🏥
I got out the car and walked inside
Doctor:Mr.Perez,this way please. We have been expecting you
She led me to her room and opened the door
Doctor:she's awake
She smiled and made her way down the hall. I sighed and opened the door. I looked to my left and saw her looking at the ceiling. I smiled and coughed so she knew I was here. She turned her head and smiled. I'm pretty sure I saw tears in her eyes
Taylor:Jacob
Jacob:Taylor
I walked over to her and kissed her with passion. More than we have ever kissed. We were making out for a solid 5 mins until we both needed air
Jacob:I missed you so much babe. I thought I lost you forever
Taylor:you would never lose me. Never in a million years
She placed her hand on my cheek and stroked it
Taylor:never
I smiled and took her hand into mines. I kissed it and looked up at her
Jacob:You deserve someone better than me Taylor
Taylor:there is nobody better than you Jacob
Jacob:I haven't seen the kids in a week. I gave up on them
By that time I was already a crying mess
Jacob:they hate me Taylor. They're going to think I left them when I promised to be there for them and I wasn't
Taylor:shhhhh. It's okay,they love you Jacob I see the way they look at you. It's okay baby
Jacob:what if they don't love me
Taylor:that's not possible baby
