Chapter 4
I wasn't myself everyday. I'm in my school but my mind is elsewhere. Just like today.
"Miss Galvan!" I almost jumped out of my seat when my teacher shouted. Stop daydreaming while your in my class!"
But still I don't like her shouting at me.
When I get home I act like my usual self.
I looked at my watch and it's still 5 pm. If I go home right now I'll be just in front of my mom lying to her. I'm so guilty that I can't even face my own mother.
"Please drive to a nearby clothing store. I still don't wanna go home." I said while getting inside the car.
A minute later the car stopped in front of a clothing shop. I got out of the car as the guard followed me.
Agad naman din akong pumasok sa shop.
The shop is quite. Wala masyadong tao.Just like before. I take the things that will catch my attention. Shopping just makes me feel better. Shopping makes me forget things. It's like I'm getting away from all those thoughts.
Money is not a problem for me. The problem was...Ohhh for Pete's sake! Shut your head up Clahara!
Not in my wildest dreams I would see Papa. That stopped me.
What a shock it was. He was walking out of the store holding a paper bag, smiling with a woman by his side. Not just any woman. His secretary.
I stood there. Heart breaking.
What makes me angry is his smiling. His happy. Like he wasn't before. That caught me on the ground.
I was still there watching them disappear in front of me. When he went into the car and the way he opened the door to that bitch was making me stop respecting him. The car wasn't familiar. It's not ours. He probably just bought it, or it's from his bitch but I doubt it.
"Ma'am?" I got back on my senses when my guards called me.
I clenched my jaw. I closed the door behind me harshly. I then ran. Hindi ko alam kung saan ako pupunta. I just ran in the opposite direction where my father went.
Tears were streaming down my face when I was running. I didn't mind it. All I know is I just wanted to leave. I can't face my mother feeling like this.
It trusted my father. I trusted his love and assurance to my mother but now this? How could he. He smiles and laughed with my mother and then the minute he turn around he fuck and be a slave to his bitch.
