Friday 19th February.
Dear Diary.
Today at school was boring. So was yesterday and the day before. I've never hated school, but lately I haven't particularly enjoyed it.

This girl Milly is drop dead gorgeous and she thinks she can walk all over everyone else. Well she does and no one stops her. She's such a bitch I just can't take it sometimes. But Sarah tells me not to react or she wins. Ella just laughs it off whenever something is directed her way. But Milly came right up to me and and asked if I was "on the pill". I answered no and she was like, oh, usually people gain quite a bit of weight when they take it.
I'm going to hit her one day. It's not like she's the school bully and I'm not always getting into fights. She doesn't like me because Ella and Sarah intimidate her.
I was so angry with her. With the bell went I stormed out of school with Sarah hurrying along behind me.
"Wait up!" She called. I slowed down enough for her to catch up. "You're not listening to her, are you?"
I pulled out my wallet shaking my head furiously. We stepped on the bus and I searched for my bus card.
"Shit." I mumbled. Sarah just laughed and paid me on.
"Sorry, thanks." I grumbled, plopping myself down on a seat. Sarah took the one next to me. The bus started after a few girls from our school got on after us and we drove on to the next stop.
"No biggie. Hey Lisa, don't listen to Milly. She's a big headed bitch." Sarah grabbed my hand and squeezed it. "You don't need her. Her opinion doesn't matter."
The bus stopped and my eyes shot to the door. "Mhmm." I replied, my using words.
Sadly enough, this was the best part of my day. When I saw Michael and Ashton step on the bus. Everyday I would tell myself to talk to them, but everyday I disappointed myself.
"Lisa?" Sarah cocked her head to the side just as Michael hopped up the stairs. A smile grew on my face and I relaxed. He paid, laughing with Ashton about something. Sarah's eyes travelled to them and back to me.
"Oh Lisa." She giggled.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Got a bit of a crush there?" We both stared at the two boys as there was some problem with the machine up front. I just sighed.
"Oh, let's say hi." Sarah winked and my mouth shot open.
"No way. No." She looked confused this time.
"Why not?"
"I don't know." I replied dumbstruck. The boys finally finished paying and walked down the bus. As they neared us Sarah lightly tapped my shoulder before giving them a grin.
"Hi." Was all she said. The boys looked away from their conversation briefly to smile at us and continue. As they sat down a little way behind us Sarah laughed.
"That wasn't so bad was it?" She asked.
Is it sad that was the best thing about my whole week? Them smiling at me? When I got home I lay on my bed thinking about his smile. I guess I do have a crush.
