"OH MY GOD WHAT IN BLAZERS HAPPENED TO YOUR FOREHEAD" my mother screamed as she ran towards me to cradle me as if I was a child once more. "Mum I'm fine me and Jamie where playing we got a lil rough and I fell and hit my head im fine honestly" "NO NO we need to get you to the hospital right now you could have a concussion, Oh my Poor Baby!" "Mother please, I've already been." The words I knew I would regret "what..." My mother said with a look of horror on her face. "Yes I went to the hospital" "you left an 11 year old all by himself in the house! Who knows what could've happened to him!" "Mother who knows what could have happened to ME if I hadn't gone to the hospital" "okay that's a good point but still I wish you could've taken him with you..oh I'm just glad both my babies are okay." As she hugged me Jamie came running down the stairs and tried to sneak past, however my mum saw him and he could not escape her fatal clutches as she squeezed us both so air trappingly tight." Mummmmm!" Jamie proclaimed "I need to get ready for footballlll" at that point she let both of us go and ran after Jamie to help him put on his football kit.
About 20 minutes later Jamie came into the living room fully dressed in his kit and knees padded. My mum walks in past him and says "come on both of you" "what..why am I coming I wanna watch the TV" "oh yeah, as if I'm leaving you by yourself with that nasty bang on your head..you need to be under watch for at least the next 6 hours" "fineeeee" so I stood up and ran and got in the car and went to spend the next hour of my dull life watching small sweaty boys play football with their shoelaces untied.
