Arrrggg.... my head hurts. Going to the amusement park and riding those extreme rides was a wrong idea for vacation specially with both Chels and Amaryllis, I can't understand why those two loves strong punch gutter rides. Inhale, take a deep breath and exhale - Haahhh.... repeat again inhale take a deep breath and then exhale - haahhh.... that help a little at the very least it cleared my thinking. I look beside me and then there she was peacefully sleeping sideward towards my position, making her hands on the pillow touch her cheek in a fetus position. The sunlight was softly kissing her face illuminating an angelic figure. With her hair spread out in the sheets , her slightly white yet tan skin, small red lips and black eyelashes, it was a sight to behold.

I could stare at her forever and never get tired of it. But every time I do that she would playfully slap my face to the opposite direction. She really is an awkward kind of girl. Amazing, she does not boast about it but she had achieved many things on her own despite being young. I have always admired her from the very first time we met.

I was a freshman at Lyncean High School same with her , I was not really aiming a high standing there nor to be part of the special classes. Not because of silly reasons like finding that class as arrogant and feeling high and mighty, its just that my brother is already a part of that class only a year older, so me being in one is kind of cliché and to be honest a part of me wants to move away from being in his shadow. To not stay under the title "The Genius' Brother".

But then it happened. Me, together with ten of my classmates from the regular sections were called to attend the said special science class. We were picked by the principle basing on our average and test given in the first semester, I did not planned for it but i guess that confirmed I am in the top 40 huh. Since you have to be in the top 40 of the whole batch to get in and we are talking about defeating nine regular classes, and two special classes to part of the top class.

To be honest even though I did not care about things like that, I was also nervous, it was said that they take things really serious, the teachers also praise them for being in various competitions be it dancing, sports, or academics. And also the fact that they were mostly famous for having fights with teachers regarding lessons. I was planning to decline the offer and continue with my recent class, however the teachers said to give it a week and if we do not like it, we are free to go back.

Monday, the first day of class with the special class students. Just merely the first hour of the day and it was already suffocating. We were given chairs in between the old students and were separated from our former ones. But contrary to our believe, they seem a little held back. They did not recited at all, my classmates from my previous class were the ones to stand out, they recited in all subjects and even created a silent competition with each other, did not argue with the teachers and did not seem to care about quiz results. For that, I know that my former classmates started to underestimate them, thinking if this is the so called special class not amounting to so much. I don't know if its intentional or if they just want us to be relaxed. That is, in the first day of course. What we did not know is they were all warming up to us. To see our capabilities and to measure our knowledge. That is when I proved the rumors to be true. They do not leave a stone unturned. From the very first subject they already showed their prowess, so overwhelming that we could not keep up.

The following days was a sure hell. We were bombarded with outputs, quizzes and assignments me and the other nine barely keep up. But they had no worries whatsoever. That kept on for a week and now I know the reason why they did that what they did. They did not recite because sometimes either they are lazy and just uninterested in the topic. The week past like a hurricane. Fast and destructive. The nine excluding me were reduced to seven. The two Lily and Anne cried after that week and begged our teacher to let her go back to our old class. Unable to refuse because of the deal and their tears, Lily and Anne went back on the pretense that their schedule of going home is in conflict with the special class schedule. We eight know it since it was only kept a secret to the others, but I think they know, they just did not want to antagonize them or they simply just do not care.
