I was walking
down the beach. Yuqi has sent me and Soojin only to Soojin's beach house. I've never been to a place like this despite all the time my family wanted a vacation like that. I just didn't show up anyway. She leaves her room once in a while. The wind was blowing calmly and gently on my face. I looked down, giving out a big sigh. What am I doing here? I came to experience her breaking down every damn day? I am tired. I can't help her, but I can't leave her...

5 years prior

Seoul, South Korea

Summer Night, a gentle breeze blowing around the neighborhood park, two girls were playing on the swings.

- I wish it wasn't so hard to live the way we want to here...

One of the girls said, making the other one look down and just nod, fingers intertwined and a heavy feeling in between. They have been together for 2 years now and they were certain of a lot of things, but how really could they be just 2 teenagers? They stood up after a while and started walking slowly through the alley where nobody could catch them holding their hands of each other looking at each other with so much overflowing love. Steps were heard right behind them. One of the girls gulped in fear that she could hear her saliva going right down her throat loudly. She held her girlfriend's hand tight, and they tried to run, but 2 men stepped right in front of them and when they turned two more were there. The girls were waiting for a well-known ending but all that happened was one of them was held while the other one got blindfolded and taken away from there; the girls pleading being muffled and to the other it was so loud the desperate wiggling of her girlfriend's leg and the call for help she tried so hard to just go around it; she tried so badly to get away from these 2 men holding her arms all she remembered was waking up in the hospital, no reminder of the past 8 days that she didn't wake up, she had 2 broken ribs, her face was messed up scars all over it and the feeling that someone was missing but she didn't know who it was...At least not for a while.

Present-day

Soojin Pov

5:34 pm

The wonderful smell of meat was invading my nostrils and I couldn't believe it, I made my way outside it was dark enough, quiet steps I looked around, everything I've built thanks to Yuqi, who made me keep going. I was 15 when I first went viral, at 17 something happened that changed my life, and now almost 23 years old and still can't believe that I have all I have but I am missing her, the worse part is Shuhua looks like her, every detail in her face, to her innocence. Yuqi told me not to hurt Shuhua or to do all over again what happened 5 years ago but, how can't I fall in love when this is her?

- Oh, Hey!
I was taken away from my thoughts when I heard her voice, I was right next to her, how had I gotten here this fast? Or how long was I thinking for I am not sure, but there I was.
-H...Hi
My voice trembled but I guess she did notice right away, her smell was addictive, she had a innocent smile on her face while she took care of the meat but she was actually burning it a little bit too much.
-Wait, let me do this for you.
She then gave me the utensil and I started to do the BBQ Slowly looking at her here and there, she was preparing the table, the weather was relaxing the waves slowly crashing and the wind was perfect.

- Do you like Seaweed soup?

Shuhua nodded and I smiled, once I finished the meat and set it on the table I slowly go to my Kitchen and start to prepare the soup and once I am done I grab the bowl and sit right beside her.

- Woah, that looks delicious!

She had a huge smile and I blushed just by the sigh my heart raced a little bit and I gave it a little nod.

- Hope you like it.

That was all I said and she already started to eat it, I giggled and served myself eating slowly I haven't felt this good in a little while so having her was kind of therapeutic.
- Soojin Unnie?

I freeze gulping and then I look at her.
-Y...Yes.

Shuhua looked at me just so purely and I smiled because of her slow KOREAN.

-Have you ever fell in love?

My mind went blank but I smiled.

- I did once, I thought I would never be able to fall in love again, but I guess I was wrong...

- Are you in love?

My hands started to sweat and I whipped it in my jeans. I let out a nervous laugh and I shook my head.

- I don't think I am...

I saw her expression a bit disappointed making me once again gulp and take my eyes back to my food. The night fell over us pretty fast, we light the fire place and sit on the pillows at the terrace and look up at the sky.

- You, Have you ever fell in love ?

Her eyes were a bit lost but she shook her head lightly.

- I may have been but I think is not interesting right now.

I nodded, so she was in love with someone already. My hands were sweaty again, why she makes me so nervous? This was all new to me every single feeling was new to me, well at least I have never felt like this when I had her...

- Tomorrow, I need you to assist me on my new Video, I told Yuqi that I need to go back to work and she accepted it well, so I need you.

The last words came as a real need, I need her... Tho I can't have her.
