Chapter 2

"Your love gave me everything"

Yuqi Pov

- It's 10 pm, I've called, her social media is exploding with DMs, I can't get a hold on her or Miyeon...

I was repeating over and over again looking at an also worried Shuhua in front of me. She looked like the entire world had ended.

-I am sorry, she has those days where she doesn't answer, she just vanishes.

Shuhua's eyes were lost and She looked like she was going to cry at some point. She didn't say a word, that was when the door opened. Soojin had a gloomy face, her make-up was ruined, her red lipstick all messed up and I gulped.

- Shuhua, could you give us a minute?

I felt like I was talking to myself only because Shuhua only stood, bowed and left to her room. Once Shuhua was gone and probably far from any audible point I went to Soojin who was now sitting on the floor I picked her up with no problems meaning she haven't eaten well, she was like a feather.

-You went there, didn't you?

She just nodded, I sighed and went to the washroom with her, we knew each other well enough and she always had these times so I took her clothes off, put the water to run and waited until it was full, she looked at me and I saw these same lost eyes from 4 years ago. I took her slowly into the bathtub and helped her to calm down.

- She was there...

I gulped and nodded, even tho I knew she was just on that denial loop.

-How is she?

I asked as the doctors always told me not to let her remember.

-She was beautiful, she looked like a new person, he was with her... They got me again.

Her voice trembled, she hugged her body and I took a deep breath holding the cry.

- I... I am so sorry.

Shuhua Pov

I was worried, I thought it was entirely my fault, I heard the door opening and closing in the living room and Miyeon's voice echoing entering the washroom. I couldn't;t quite understand what they said but from the state Soojin came back home, it wasn't any good.

Miyeon Pov

I ran as soon as Yuqi sent me a message, Minnie stayed down to park the car inside and I ran to the washroom in Soojin's house.

- Mochi...

I said with tears already falling from my eyes seeing her all quiet, hugging her legs and looking to the plain walls; My heart sank and I caressed her hair singing her favourite song, I guess if that scene was looked upon by any outsider they would find weird having 23 years old in a bathtub with 22 years old about to cry and a 25 years old singing the other a song... Soojin is someone in need of help, tho she refuses and her Instagram page is full of her most beautiful smile.

1:45 am

Soojin was finally in bed and sleeping, I was in the living room with Yuqi and Minnie.

- I think is time for her to have another vacation away from here.

Yuqi declared and I looked at the hallway.

- Shuhua just got here, haven't even started...

Yuqi looked at me

- Don't worry about Shuhua, I'll take care of her.

Yuqi looked so serious, we heard quiet little steps and looked at the pale figure. We all smiled, there was something about her that was different.

- I ... I am sorry I didn't mean to-

- Don't you worry, everything is good, are you alright??

Yuqi interrupted her and we looked at how protective Yuqi was being, it made me and Minnie think a little bit, Yuqi was never this gentle with anyone else that worked with Soojin before Shuhua. I took a mental note that I would have to ask Yuqi later why she was this way with Shuhua.

Shuhua made her way to the kitchen and we just tried not to look like creeps looking at prey or something. She was just so cute and innocent made me feel like a mother

5:32 am

I and Minnie finally left after a long discussion with Yuqi about those vacations we ended up just letting her do her job, she was still awake making phone calls.

Shuhua Pov

I woke up at 5 am again and saw how stressed and tired Yuqi looked so I went to the kitchen and made her some tea, she looked at me with so much appreciation, I gave her a warm smile and bowed starting to make Soojin's breakfast I used to watch her a lot so I did some of the things she used to make before in her videos. I did some Smoked salmon and cream cheese toast with a fruit power bowl and an Iced Americano. My quiet steps might not have reached Yuqi's ears either by the fact that once I was done She was asleep on the couch or that I was really quiet with my steps, I knocked slightly and entered the room, Soojin was still asleep her bare face looked so beautiful and she was looking peaceful, she had a couple of bruises and small cuts on her lips and under them almost on her chin. I walked to her and I sighed she was looking vulnerable not that powerful influencer I saw in the videos, not that influencer that wears those dering red lipsticks. I then quietly turned to make my way out, she held my hand my heart raced.

- Stay... Just a little bit longer.

I didn't move and her hand didn't move as well, her thumb caressed my fingers my heart was almost in my mouth.

- I will.

It was all I could say, I was drunk om how good she smelled, I was so lost, she needed someone and the way she was holding my hand I could feel it, She had everything I wanted in a person but I am here to work, this is work. After a couple of minutes, her hand finally left mine and I adjusted her back in bed and went to get the teacup, I woke Yuqi telling her to sleep in my room and not to worry much I would clean a little bit and get things ready for my first class.

1:52 PM

Soojin pov

My body was hurting like never before, I sat in my bed and took a deep breath that almost killed me of how much pain was to breathe in. I looked at a still fresh Meal on my table, I slowly walked to it, as it was inside the heated container, I looked it was all my favourite breakfast choices and on the cool container, it was a fruit bowl and the Iced Americano. I smiled and ate it slowly.

The outside was quiet, my steps were slow as well and I saw her. Shuhua was at the table with all the Korean books open and Seulgi her Korean teacher was smiling at how focused she was, I gulped because I was a bit jealous even tho it wasn't something I should be anyways, she has nothing to do with me.

- Hey... Come here.

I heard Yuqi's quiet voice which is a miracle because she is always loud. I walked to her and sat on Shuhua's bed as she was in Shuhua's room.

- You have to stop going there...

-I can't she is there...

-Every time you go and come back you look worse! can't you understand the consequences of you doing this?

- She is the one I love...

-SHE AIN'T REAl!!

Yuqi yelled, I gulped; Yuqi tried to apologize but I just got up and nodded.

-Please, I am sorry... I need you to rest.

Once again I just nodded. It was there I knew, I remembered, I felt broken all over again.
