fem!bodied character (she/her/hers)
just a smidge of angst andI leave you on a cliffhanger (no explanation needed), bc I have online school for the rest of the week 😭😭 hate that shit bruh
third person point of view/summary??
Ashtray had been acting weird all week. He wouldn't answer your calls, he wouldn't tell you to come to the gastion nor would he text you. You had picked up on his odd behaviour as soon as he started acting that way, you would go to that gas station, but he wasn't there. Only Fez was, weird, you thought. You seen him at school, but he would avoid you at all costs. Nothing that you did worked, he hid his following list and even blocked you on some things. No one knows what's up with him.. or do they?
readers point of view
"I don't know why, he's just totally ghosting me. He doesn't even talk to me at school, he doesn't even LOOK in my direction." I said, placing my phone upright so that my friend could see my face. "that's kind of weird, did you guy's get into an argument or some shit?" -- "No, he randomly started to act like this." I said, sipping up the last drop of apple juice. "I seen him today, he was all happy and shit." she said, I furrowed my eyebrows. Happy? that's unusual, he was only happy when he saw me. "um- i'll call you back later." I said, hanging up the phone and slamming it down on the table. I got up and grabbed my jacket from the back of the chair, I ]threw it over my shoulders and slipped my arms through the sleeves.
I grabbed my phone and slid it into the back pocket of my jeans. I got up and walked towards the front door, I slipped my feet into my vans. (quick and easy, i'm lazy lol) I opened the door and stepped out into the humid air, slamming the door behind me. I was blinded with fury, who was he seeing? I stomped towards the side of the house, grabbing my bike that was leaning against the brick wall. I got up on my bike and pedaled out of my driveway. I didn't live far from the gas station, so it was a quick ride. I pedaled faster, my hands gripping the handles tighter once the gas station came into view.
I stopped in front of the gas station and got off my bike, I let it fall and walked towards the opening. I noticed Fez sitting on the counter, he turned my way at the sound of my bike falling. "wassup girl, how you doing?" I faked a smile and stood in front of him, a scowl on my face. I crossed my arms over my chest and looked behind him, I saw Faye and gave her a soft smile, which was soon replaced with the same scowl on my face as before. "Where's Ashtray?" I asked, Fez was taken aback on how I had used his full name instead of a nickname. "I don't know, he left earlier but he hasn't been back since." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "boy- you don't know where he went? y'all are usually inseparable." I raised my eyebrows, leaning back against the doorway. "Y'know what, i'll just go back there and wait." -- "shit, fine by me." He said.
I got up and walked towards the freezer door, swinging it open and stepping inside. I looked around awkwardly, I stepped towards the cereal that had his gun in it. I grabbed the box and peeked inside, just a bag of cereal.. weird. I set it back down on the stand and looked over to his desk. Okay, i'll just be a little nosy, I walked around his desk and crouched down. I felt around on the ground until I felt his laptop. I fully sat on the ground and sat his laptop on my lap. I opened it and held down the on button. I peeked my head around the corner to see if Fez was still out there, everything was still in tact so I went back to doing what I was doing.
Once it turned on, I instantly went to his text messages. I read through the text messages until my eyes kept looking back at a dot, my anxiousness got the best of me and I clicked on it. I glanced over the texts.

my mouth fell agape at the short messages. "what the-" I was abruptly cut off by 2 sultry voices entering the room. I silently rushed under his desk, I closed the laptop and set it down next to me quietly. "so, what do you do here?" A high pitched voice said, it sounded obnoxious, almost like her nose was stuffed or some shit. "I do shit, that's none of your fucking business." He said, the desk creaked as he sat on it. "why'd you text me about y/n, she's none of your business, and back up." he asked, I heard the ruffling of a jacket and a heavy set of footsteps. "what the fuck?!? why'd you push me?" The girl said. "your annoying as fuck, here take this and give me my fucking money." I heard a lockbox open and the sound of a little baggie.
"c'mon, i'll give you something else in return." -- "fuck no, give me my money. And again, step the fuck back." He exclaimed, I looked from under the small opening under the desk, I seen them both turn away from me and I crawled from under the desk. I straightened up and cleared my throat loudly, loud enough for them to hear me. They turned towards me and the girl's eyes widened when she saw me. "You seem surprised." I said, giving her a fake smile. "I am, he didn't tell me he had a.. girlfriend." The fake smile quickly faded from my face and I pressed my lips into a thin line, I raised my eyebrows with a faux look of surprise on my face. "you didn't? well, then why did you assume I was his girlfriend." I asked, I narrowed my eyes at her and waited impatiently for her response.
"w-well, he's cute-" I glared at her. "what I meant was that he's old enough to have a girlfriend, listen I was just here to buy off of him." Her high-pitched voice was suddenly gone, she sounded normal.. or neutral now, she didn't sound as snobby. "your advances towards him didn't seem like you were trying to just buy off of him, you sure you didn't want anything else from him?" I asked, pushing her to say more. I made eye contact with him and he just smirked, I rolled my eyes. He's not off the hook just yet. I turned back to her, her face was now a bright red and she was fiddling with her fingers. "I-I, w-well we used to hang out. I just wanted to get some coke, i swear." she said, her voice was shaky. I nodded silently and crouched down to grab his computer from on the floor.
"what's that??" she asked. "a laptop, which proves that your a fucking liar." I sat down at his desk and opened up his laptop, the messages app was already opened up so I just scrolled up to see what she said. "alright, so it says here and I quote 'we can be more than friends by the way' care to explain that bullshit, or you gonna lie to me some more?"
