Guardian 11: Sleepless Night

*Kimiko's POV*

Next morning, we went to the forest to check on Naruto. Suddenly, kunai drop down in front of us. We look up seeing Naruto covered in dirt and bruise. He's on the branch and I could see the marks that he made. He's almost at the top.

"He already climb that high?" Sakura asked in disbelief.

"What do you think? Look how high I can climb now!!" Naruto shouted from above. Naruto stood up but slip from the branch he's standing. Sensei and Sakura started to panick while I ate my lollipop (I don't know where did that come from!!) coolly. Naruto stick his chakra from the branch below so he looks like a cocoon now.

"Just kidding." Naruto grinned. I sighed finger combing my hair.

"Naruto, you might-" I didn't finish what I said when he started to fall. "Fall..."

Everyone started to panick. Also me. I accidentally drop my lollipop due to the falling Naruto. I was about to climb when Sasuke save him from falling.

"Yay!! Sasuke you're the best!!" Sakura squealed beside me. Sasuke smirked boastfully. Tch, he's Uchiha pride is way more annoying than the Uchiha's I've met!!! I snap my fingers when Sasuke started to fall. As well as Naruto. I cross my arms not wanting to help.

"AAHH!!" Naruto screamed on top of his lungs. Oops.. I forgot Naruto!

I flick my hands as water started to twirl around Naruto and Sasuke. I use the water to land them safely on the ground. Sensei and Sakura sighed in relief seeing Naruto and Sasuke safe.

"Come on, you guys could survive that fall.." I said. "Look what happened to my lollipop!!" I anime cried staring at the lollipop on the ground. "NOO MY LOLI!!!"

They all sweatdropped at me.

"Then why don't you try fall on that branch!!" Sakura challenged. I smirk innocently started to climb the tree.

"With pleasure.." I said. I went into the branch where Naruto is a few minutes earlier. I jump from the branch and landed on a crouch position.

"See? I'm alive." I said jumping around happily.

I entered the room seeing sensei having push ups with one finger with Tazuna and Sakura on his back.

"196... 197.. 198.." Psh. Show off..

"Hey!! Can I ride on your back sensei??" I asked.

"Sure." He said. Sakura and Tazuna move away. I think of something angelic and smiled. I sat down at the back of sensei as he started his one finger push up.

"You're too light." He chuckled. I rolled my eyes as I applied pressure to the wind. 

"Hmm.. You're getting heavier." He seems to feel uneasy.

"I'm adding pressure so it becomes heavy." I said. He fall down with me on his back. My face is on sensei's neck. I remove the pressure. I could feel sensei's perfume. It smells good?

Not good!! I stood up as fast as I can blushing furiously. 

"S-Sorry.." I smiled sheepishly.

"It's... alright." He said. I walk out of the room as my blush replenish.

Night came and we went for dinner. Naruto and Sasuke went back to the house worn out and dirty. They finally both made to the top.

"All right! Naruto, Sasuke, Kimiko, starting tomorrow, you three will also help Tazuna-san.

"Hai~" I said cutely.

"Oh my gosh!! Kimiko is so kawaii!!" Tsunami said as she started to pinch my cheeks.

"Owieee.." I said rubbing my cheeks. They turned red. 

"Aww.. You're so cute when your cheeks reddened!" Sakura squealed and started to fan girl at me. Naruto started to blush, Sasuke has a faint pink on cheeks and sensei's staring at me.

"Stop teasing mee.." I whined and started to eat. Then Inari started to shout as well as Naruto. I just ate in silence wanting to finish my food peacefully. Inari ran away with sensei following him. I finish my  food and started to follow them. I saw them in a dock (idk) seeing the beautiful sea glistening in the moonlight. I sat on the roof looking at the two. They started to talk about Naruto and Sasuke's past. I didn't listen but instead, I just look into the crescent moon above us.

"I see you're here." I felt someone sat beside me. "You're listening aren't you?"

"Actually, no." I chuckled softly. "I'm looking at the moon apparently."

"So what brings you here?" Sensei asked.

"Probably following you." I said truthfully. "Sensei?"

"Hm?"

"I have a question.." I said softly.

"What is it?"

"By any chance, do you know about the Gods and Goddesses?" I asked. He chuckled patting my head.

"Of course. Everyone knows who are they."

"So.. Who are the Gods and Goddesses you know?" I asked.

"Many to mention but the famous God and Goddess I know is Kiku and Eiji. I like them a lot." He said. I smiled as he mentioned both of my parents. They have an effect towards people. I wonder how people will act towards me..

"Have you heard they have a child?" I asked. He nodded looking at the ocean.

"Yes.. I only forgot her name. I actually found out the day she is born is the nature is in peace and alive. I remember that day. The weather is good the grass is green. And the news in Suna of having plants and flowers around." He said. I think of it in awe. I was born in that way?

"I know her name! It's the same as my name. Sounds cliche right?" I said. I don't want everyone to know that I'm a goddess yet.. I'm still preparing the day I'll reveal myself.

Dad said that the day I will reveal myself is the day that they need my help. It's very confusing though.

"Oh. I remember.. Her name is Kimiko too.. The Goddess of nature. She's the same age as you I believe." I nodded smiling at him softly.

"I''ve always wanted to meet her. I bet she's as pretty as her mom and smart as her dad." I chuckled softly. Smart? Almost..

"Someday, you'll meet her, I guess. When the time is right." I muttered the last part. He didn't seem to heard it.

"That Megami clan.. Are they the guardians here?" He asked. I look at him confusingly.

"What do you mean?"

"Are they like the right hand of the Gods and Godesses?" 

"You studied don't you?"  I asked. He nodded. "Yeah. Kinda..."

"I see.." I look at the ocean in piece as my eyes started to close and drifted to sleep.
