As the weeks leading up to Halloween pass by, Lily-Kathryn gets more excited. Something she dreads is how Harry is going to react. Every year on her birthday her aunt and uncle throw a party for Lily and later that evening Harry would sneak out of his cupboard up to her room, the two would have a mini party just for the two of them. He would earn some money with a few odd jobs in the neighborhood and buy her a present. Everything that happens within the house to make Harry's life miserable would be forgotten until the next day and they would just concentrate on enjoying the one day.
On the morning of her 11th birthday, Lily wakes up to Ari jumping on her, loudly singing happy birthday. Giggling the two rise and spend time dressing up for the special day. Ari specifically instructed everyone in Slytherin to dress up for Halloween to make the day fun and playful. Dragging Kathryn into their bathroom Ari instructs her to shower while she does her makeup. She had gotten her box braids removed days before by a girl in Ravenclaw and was now going for a natural curl. She casts a spell that temporarily turns her hair a nice orange for a whole day. Ari contours and paints on the color. As Lily walks out into their dorm Ari puts the finishing touches on the look.

"Whoa," She exclaims. "You look so cool. What's your costume?" Walking closer Lily looks at Ari's makeup.
"I'm going to be a fairy, isn't that so cool!" Getting an energetic nod from Lily she continues. "I wanted something fun and quirky. I already got your costume, I hope you like fairies too, we're going to be the cutest pair there."
Sitting Lily down, Ari quickly begins. She dabs at Lily's eyelid and cheekbones with a light pink until Art bursts into the room looking like vampire royalty.
Throwing his arms out he exclaims, "How dare you begin doing her makeup without me, I even brought supplies." He saunters over and sets a bag of stuff on Lily's bed. Pulling out a plastic package of what looks to be pure sparkles he walks over, makeup bag in hand. "Let's get this party started, I'll do the makeup, you do the hair."
The two descend upon Kathryn in a cloud of glitz and glam.
