It's been a week since I've last seen flying cars.

Here, nothing much is different aside from the fact it's all very.... Well, vintage

Every door is manual, the cellphone is thicker, the television is tangible, no movement tracker, no robot cleaner, no automatic bed warmer, and no instant meal machine. Hence, I have to PHYSICALLY do most things. Which is inconvenient. It makes me realize technology, as ruining as it is, isn't bad at all.

During our private time together in the lab, I'd say I've made improvements with Namjoon in regards to our affiliation. It's more of a... coworker than amity

I became comfortable enough to tell him everything different this time to the one we have in future. It doesn't step out the line, a conversation about science and nothing more. He was pretty amazed by how science had gone far. I told him it wasn't an advantage, because politicians whose obsession with power and wealth is not worse than a bunch of scientist who uses the citizens in their science practices

"You'll be surprised by how much they've mastered interbreeding. Before William fled I was helping him on a project for developing a corrective. He wanted to help restore the human genetics of those who were abandoned amidst transformation or what they refer as 'failed subjects'. I thought he was so idealistic for that. But I guess if he could create time machine, he can pretty much do anything"

Namjoon shook his head, rearranging the components on the table to lay out all the parts we would be needing. We just decided it would be easier to follow up the classic formula to build this damn time portal. Once we build the foundation, I will be playing with picture memory to rearrange and reinstall other components. Hopefully I remember enough from watching William.

" I'm not entirely shocked, just disappointed. I've seen many of their methods. Unethical would be an understatement. It's like those fuckers forgot how it's like to be human"

"That, I agree" I nodded, bending down to pick up more parts. "Our leader was the inventor of the first successful high functioning robot- amazing creation it functions and looks like a human, some of it even started building family" Namjoon replied with a wide eyed and small gasp

I continued "it was terrifying. I think they are upgrading them for reproduction." I didn't stop my shoving from showing "Anyway. Sometimes while we are forced to watch her announcement she acts like a robot. William told me she wishes to be immortal, so during her leadership the interbreeding experimentation went worse. She wanted them to find an antidote for mortality" I snorted

"If I ever got a kid, then my grandkid would be living in your time" he said

"It's weird to consider the notion you are already dead"
