Chapter 13

Kazue Pov

When I woke up on the floor, I saw that Maneki was still sleeping. I got up and threw my pillow at Maneki and yelled "Oh my god there's a fire take over!". He immediately got up and yelled "I'm up! Let's go! " He looked at me and sighs "Really why did you throw a pillow at me? You could have touched my shoulder to wake me up. I am a light sleeper.... Also again you had to do that AGAIN!".

I was laughing "Well I was impatient and just like old times.". He started laughing, "Fair, I'll accept it this time.". I am happy we are starting to get along but I have to remember our deal then I can forgive him. He got up and said "Let's get ready then get on the road again and we're almost at the village!" He is smiling. I can tell he is definitely confident but I am kind of nervous. I feel like something bad is going to happen......

On the road

Narrator Pov

Well their talking Kazue and Maneki felt something dark coming but it felt familiar like a fight that happened a week ago. Maneki looks at Kazue "Are you ok? You've been acting weird since we left." she nods "yes I am. I feel like something is going to happen when we go to our village. I am not sure what." he replies with "Same I been feeling that to..... But we have to stay brave for our friends and our village." he stops smiling and turns to a sad look. She nods "I will".

Maneki pov

We took a break to eat. "So Kazue, what do you think will happen when we get to our village because we'll be there later tonight?" she thinks for a second "Well they will probably kick me out but I know you back me up." he responded with "Hell yeah I would you are my sister.". he messed up her hair she got irritated "5....4" he muttered "oh shit.... I messed up" run away well Kazue chased him. As they both calmed down he commented with "I can tell we're getting along again I really like that." he smiles well Kazue replies with "Yeah I have noticed that too." She drinks some water.

Then they both sensed something dark and powerful aurora I said with a shaking voice "I feel like it's near us...... Let's head to our village." Kazue nods "Yeah...".

Kazue Pov

As we arrived at the village I said to myself "You can do it Kazue you can do it believe in yourself.". Maneki looked at me, "You can do it, I'll be behind you, well you talk to them." I smiled "Thank you I really appreciate it" I took a deep breath and said in a confident voice "Im ready!".
