I'm going to tell you my story about the experience that changed my life. My name is Lucy.
It may come as a shock to you but I used to compete in pageants. I know I know.
Sounds stupid right how a girl like me would ever compete in pageants. Well if you don't know me I am a total tomboy.
I always wear my red hair in a pony tail I wear tennis shoes, sweat shirts and a pair of jeans with wholes and no make up.
I'm not exactly someone you would call pretty. I have a plain face and pale skin.
My eyes are as grey and dull as storm clouds and I have freckles sprinkled across the bridge of my nose and on my cheeks.
When I was eight until the age of thirteen I competed I pageants until I reached puberty and had major acne problems and my skin became more pale and my hair curler than ever.
Now my hair stays up in a frizzy pony tail.
I know it may sound crazy that a girl who was totally into her looks suddenly stopped caring I realized there were more important things I life than how you look and how you dress.
I became obsessed with my studies and doing we in school unlike my step sister Winnie who is my polar opposite.
She is absolutely beautiful. She has the prettiest blue eyes that were a deep ocean blue.
She had flowing blonde hair and beautiful skin.
Of course she took my place as top pageant queen and that's where it all started....
